Bozak is looking for +$5 million per season. Just go to the Toronto board for laughs.

We aren't signing any big free agents, if you consider Bozak a big signing.

The Blackhawks signed their big FA, his name is Bickell. That's it.

Yes, even though the CBA says yesterday was the deadline. Canada Day caused a one day delay.

They must be qualified by today but it wouldn't shock me if you see the Leddy deal get done today. Teams can start negotiating with players tomorrow.

They aren't going to bury Brookbank and no team carries a 21 man roster

From 30 Thoughts today

Quote:
27. A lot of the focus on the Bolland/Frolik moves was on re-signing Bryan Bickell. The Blackhawks aim to re-sign restricted free agents Marcus Kruger and Nick Leddy, but there was talk at the draft they wanted to try and keep Michal Rozsival, too. An unrestricted free agent, he played very well for them.
Bringing back Rozi would be a smart move.

Yeah, I don't see why he doesn't have one more good year and he does things that nobody else on the team does.

Agreed. I'd bring him back on a one or two year deal at his same salary. Maybe $2 mil for 1 year or 2 years $3.5 total?

One year for Rozi. He was great but he's at the age that his game can deteriorate QUICK.

Yeah, add Adams, Bollig and Stanton and you have a full roster under the cap with Vinny on board.

Nevermind, just noticed Bollig there, so you'd have a 22 man roster, which is still good.

even though there is a serious glut of goalies available (Bryz, Thomas, Khabi, etc) I think Emery can get more than $1.4 per year out there. I would love a hometown discount, but just like Bickell's home town discount, it is going to be higher than we expected if he resigns.

Vinny is not considering the Hawks and is asking for $5 million per year.

bozak has got to be one of the most mediocre players i have ever seen. he should not be re-signed at all.

That is a bit excessive

He is good at faceoffs , Has solid speed , Solid offensive instincts and is decent defensively

As a #2/3 C he has value in NHL

3M cap hit wouldn't be unreasonable for him
