Forsberg missed practice

"SICK: Peter Forsberg was ill and didn't practice with the team Wednesday but made the trip to Nashville."

Could be nothing but last time we were told Peter was taking a practice off was for 'rest'. The rest turned out to be a groin injury, which turned out to be an groin/abdominal injury. So.... there you have it.

I hope if someone hear anything about Forsberg illness and if he will or will not start tonight they will post it here. Tonight I put money on the avs so I need him on the ice.

I think positive indicators that it's not anything serious are that we farmed out McCormick, and Cummins didn't make the trip. That points toward us using all our guys tonight. Brigley is on IR, right?

yes he is, but sending MacCormick back to hershey could mean the Avs wanted to make room for Brigley to come back.

Possible, but it doesn't seem like we'd send down Cody if we thought that we'd be without Forsberg and Cummins tonight, even if Brigley came back. Unless McAllister came back too, oh boy.

We'll find out in a few hours.

Well, Peter Forsberg is in the lineup tonight. In fact he has already scored a goal against the Preds.
