He has gotten progressively worse since coming into NHL

A lot of teams probably don't think he is an NHL talent at this point

i would like the sharks to at least take a look at grabbing halischuk...but i know they wont..we are in the process of re-signing too many people and any waiver guys will likely be very low priority for them.

PRAISE JESUS RT @FrankTank96: #Bruins didn't tender qualifying offer to RFA Kaspars Daugavins. He will not be back with Boston. #NHL

You'd like Halischuk, someone should snatch him up.
Should expect 10-15 goals out of him on the 3rd/4th line.

Still scratching my head on that one......

Really surprised at Halischuk. I mean who else is Nashville going to play? - he was one of their most consistent and productive players for his role last season.

I would love for the Leafs to take a look at him if Clarkson doesn't work out. A third line of

Kulemin - Bolland - Halischuk would be great.

Trotz' system never gave Blum a chance. He's an offensive Dman and Trotz uses his favorites for that role. I think if a team needing an offensive Dman picks him up, it could be quite the move. Sign him short term cheap and if it doesn't work, he's gone.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Halischuk is still just a 3/4 liner. He was one of our most consistant and productive players because we had a record number of injuries to our forwards. Still, I Think it's a bad move.

A handful of teams should give Blum a call. No harm on a 1 or 2 year deal.

#FlaPanthers offer contracts to RFAs Caruso, Matthias, Markstrom, Robak, Timmins and Rheault; don't offer Skille and Mueller
Quote:
#FlaPanthers says they would like to keep Mueller, still negotiating with him. fearful of arbitration hence why didn't offer
So the Panthers didn't offer Mueller a contract, but did qualify Rheault who signed in Germany for next seaon?!

Halischuk is a useful bottom 6er I thought.

Skille has wheels and isn't afraid to get physical, but has hands of stone even for 4th line standards. Too many bottom6 wingers already even without him, would have liked to keep him otherwise.

50/50 on Mueller, he was a total ghost for the 2nd half after that good start.

I am surprised that Dale gave up on Jack

But I guess even Tallon can only hold onto a dream for so long

I wonder why Hawks RFA's haven't leaked

I am hopeful that the Kyle Beach mistake ends and organization can move on from the bust

Maybe that's why Tallon didn't qualify Skille

I'd take Halischuk for the Leafs. Could be a good replacement winger for the bottom six.

I'd consider giving a shot to Jonny Blum too, even if it is as a depth reclamation project. Right handed D are scarce in Leafland at the moment.

As for Blum not so much not physical enough in my view

Dallas just re-signed Gazdic and MacDermid, I have a funny feeling the rest of their RFAs will not be qualified.

No to Blum. He's a defensive liability and soft to boot.

Halischuk may be worth a shot.
