I liked York when he played briefly for Jackets

Thought kid might have potential to work out as a #2 in NHL in longrun

I'm surprised they qualified Medved, McMillan and to a certain extend Cuma.

Also, there are some players like Latendresse, Pouliot, Mueller, Hamill and Ferrerio who have been moving a lot lately. I wonder if they'll be interested to sign in Europe where they could find more stability.

Per Adrian Dater, Colorado didn't qualify Aaron Palushaj. He says Colorado qualified everyone else, but I'm curious about AHL guys like Joel Chouinard. I remember last year he said that Colorado had qualified everyone and it turned out it wasn't quite everyone.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at Peckham if he were to take a two-way deal.

So far Yannick Weber will be a UFA

****ing Montreal is late. I'll just edit this post with the other(s) (if any)

Ian Schultz (Acquired in Halak-Eller deal)
Joe Stesjkal

Others that will be ufa.

per Renaud Lavoie, in addition to the aforementioned Yannick Weber, Montreal didn't qualify Ian Schultz or Joe Stejskal either.

Aliu is a bit of a surprise..I thought he was OK in a couple games I saw. Thought he could be a 4th liner.

I was gonna ask the same thing.. Those three not being tendered QO's is surprising. Same thing with Jack Skille. I'd gladly have Halischuk or Skille on the Ducks bottom six, or even Colton Gillies as a 13th forward with size, grit and speed (same as Skille).

Also, the Ducks dit NOT tend offers to Marco Cousineau (G), Josh Brittain (W), Matt Kennedy (W) and Ryan Parent (D). No major surprises, but Brittain was kind of starting to come along in the AHL.
