No Contest Who To Keep

I don`t think Gainey will pay both Rivet and Souray , but Sheldon`s shot , and
what he showed on Saturday night , clearly he is way ahead of Rivet . A game like this, wins you ag me every once in a while. Rivet is a solid pro, but in the long run
his lack of speed , and at 33 , I think his game will go down hill in th next year or so.

if ever Souray AND Markov have 60+ pts seasons, we'll have a pretty tough time signing both UFAs though...

Markov ,may not hit the home run this year , Chara, Jovo have they made the difference so far? I think he gets 4 not the 6 others got

I doubt you will see a career hab like rivet move on unless management really

does not want him back, and unfortunately, as much as we know souray is not

worth 5 mil per season, there is no doubt some team will cough up the money.

Best bet is to give markov his millions and see what is left over....

If the Habs know that for whatever reason, they are going to lose 1 out of 3, depending where we are in the standings, they will have to trade the one that the know will produce the greater return.....But if that guy is Markov, they'll have to be absolutely convince they'll be able, in that trade or in the UFA season, to get at least 2 good puck-moving d-men with good hockey sense like Markov is showing day in day out.......

'Cause losing Markov for nothing, will have the greater effect on us, especially when the world is going to see how good Markov really is and it wasn't a Habs fan overrating his own player...
