Honestly if you go for Petro or another big name like that, you have to include Coburn+Couts+2014 1st rounder and 2nd rounder.

I would have some wiggle room. Good thing I remember hearing about Homer though, he never beats around the bush, he tells them what he has and who is available. Then work from there.

Of course Blue fans will politely decline that offer.

Jeremy Jacobs (Boston's Owner) thinks the cap is going to raise substantially after next year. He was the basically the figure head for the Owners during the lockout so he would have a good idea.

It might actually be back around $70M again.

Any word on Giroux extension? I believe they were talking if I'm correct.

The fourth period reported talks are going well and Giroux is hopeful a new deal can be signed by July 5th, the first day he is eligible to sign one.

Can't wait to hear on the trade board how we overpaid for Giroux and how we don't even really gave the cap space to sign him.

We should try to snag T.J. Brodie away from Feaster.

WTF?!?

I go to sleep, wake up again and we agreed on terms with Vinny LeCavalier ?

Guess what, Couturier is not untouchable anymore.

Schenns both gone

Maybe both Schenns are going in a package for Pietranglo ?

Think thats enough in trade?
Probably would need to add atleast a 2nd rounder.

I would be willing to move both for a #1 defenseman.

Blues would want much more and IMO it wouldn't be worth it.

That would be a sick trade. Not so sure they would do it though?

Would Mez for Ian Cole be a fair trade?

Bring Ryan ja Myers in. That is the solution.
Coburn Read Couturier Mezzy and picks on the block.

Coburn+Read+1/2015 for Myers+Ott

Couturier+Mezzy+1/2014 for Ryan+Sbisa

Let me entertain this idea for a second (don't know that either team does these)

Ryan-Giroux-Voracek
Schenn-Lecavalier-Simmonds
Gagne-Ott-Hartnell
Rinaldo-Laughton-Talbot

Timonen-Myers
Streit-Schenn
Gustafsson/Sbisa-Grossmann
Sbisa/Gustafsson

Thomas
Mason

Holy hell.

Holy hell.
Hold on. I think we can make an even better team out of this...

Hartnell - Giroux - Voracek
Schenn - Lecavalier - Simmonds
Gagne - Couturier - Read
Rinaldo - Laughton - Talbot
Rosheill

Timonen - Schenn
Streit - Coburn
Gustafsson - Grossmann
Meszaros - Gervais

Mason
Emery/Thomas

A better team, and I didn't have to trade a single player.

I'd consider moving the Schenn bros or Couts/Coburn(both of them)++ for a the right #1. They would have to overpay but it may be worth it. You could still have a top 9 like this and the #1 D should be a big upgrade to Luke/Coburn.

Hartnell - G - Voracek
Schenn - Vinny - Simmonds
Gagne - Laughton - Read

I'm sure Homer is looking for a deal like this but it doesn't hurt them to hold all their forwards if the right deal is not available. If they made a trade like that and brought in Thomas...you know Snider is doing everything he can to make it happen!

I don't think the CPU GM on NHL 13 accepts those last few trades. Talk about throwing **** at the wall
