Camilo is definitely redeeming himself for his sub-par season last year.

What are the chances of Camillo getting his citizenship and playing for Canada?

Not the prettiest game, but they worked their butt's off and it helps that DC isn't that good. Still well deserved 3 points.

Liked Mitchell again. Establishing that he provides more than just depth on the back line. Allows the team to think of Leveron in other positions. Good game as well for Watson and Koffie looked better creating some other options for mid-field. Might be that Koby is playing himself off the team.

Another very solid match for the front 3 and Tiebert is probably the best two way player on the team.

Thought Mattock's play and attitude looked poor.

Going to the game next week.

First game at BC place and I'm right in the middle of the southsiders. Should be fun!

Man, this thread fell far, did something big go down in Canuckland or something?

Anyone got the starting XI for tonight's game? I bet it's horrific with the Gold Cup callups.

Thanks! Well, after watching TFC just blow a 3-0 lead against Montreal, very little that happens this game will upset me.

Quality of play in the MLS has risen quite a bit in recent years. The 'Caps are also playing a much more polished game than they were their rookie season - which is expected, sure, but nice to see it actually happen.

i can literally do what davidson does, and more. just an awful soccer player. and he continues to get start after start.

edit: LOL it's like i knew something was coming. "hey i'll just back off this guy who's in the box with no one covering him to cover his team mate...he looks like he could use a goal"

luckily for my good friend JMD, he hit the post.

Missed the game but caught the highlights. Nice goal by Camilo, really can't say I saw this coming after last year.

The Caps gripped on to that tie and just wouldn't let go, no matter how hard SKC pulled. Great to get a point on a tough second road game in just a matter of days.

Yes he was brain dead on that play. Just atrocious play. Could also point out, as the TV crew did, how he hung back and left the middle of field wide open. Just hasn't got the speed or agility shut down his area.

Having said all that this was one of his better games. Certainly wasn't good but significantly better than on most occasions. Let's face it. He can't really compete at this level so anything you do get is a bonus and there were times in this game when he was somewhat effective. Playing right now because of the absence of other players. When everyone is here should be out of there.

Thought Knighton had another strong game and makes you wonder why the Caps are bringing in a goalie when help is more need elsewhere. Also thought Leveron was very good (probably our best player) and Rusin mostly adequate. Camilo was again very dangerous and Reo Coker solid

Did not like Harvey, who looked tired and constantly let his check get inside position, or Koby who again did nothing and made too many passes that led directly to turnovers. Also thought Herzog confirmed the fact that he has no talent at all.

Harvey drives me nuts, if he's not scoring, he is such a liability at the back that I am not sure he is a benefit. I simply don't think he is a good player, he lacks awareness of players around him.

Pretty much agree. Not sure why Hertzog started with much better options on the bench. I could see it he was able to maintain possession as that is something Manneh & Hurtado have struggled with a little, but he provided nothing. The only thing Heinneman provides is size, he's pretty useless too.

I was initially impressed with Daigo's first couple of games, but the last 10 games or so he has done very little imo. Hes a decent dribbler & passer but for a supposed playmaker has created very little. I am hoping Koffie is ready to start again so we can get him off the field.

Though sadly that might leave Watson on the field, and other than running his ass off (which I do appreciate), he is also a turnover machine and can't maintain possesion.
