So he was with the Blackhawks during this Stanley Cup, and their previous one as well?
Any idea why did he leave them? I don't understand why would the Blackhawks let him walk if he is so good.

Yes he's been there since 2003

His contract was up, guess the Hawks didn't want to give him a raise or he wanted a change

I'm pretty sure they wanted him back, but he wanted to get closer to home (think he runs a goalie school in Sherbrooke).
