Keep an eye on Nikita Lyamkin out of Russia (might come CHL), Jacob Middleton (Ottawa OHL), Brycen Martin of Swift Current & swiss Phil Baltisberger (also might come to CHL next year)

Any big bodied, fast and skilled foward with some nice tools who have yet to put it togheter or have consistence problem a la Bailey, Nastasyuk, Dickinson for the 2014 draft that I should take a look at? Those are the most interesting prospect, IMO.

My early picks from most leagues;

WHL - Sam Rinehart or Jake Virtanen or Leon Draisaitl
USHL - Nick Schmaltz or Jack Glover or Shane Eiserman
OHL - Sam Bennett or Jared McCann or Nick Ritchie
QMJHL - Nick Aube-Kubel or Daniel Audette or Alex Pepin
Euros - Will Nylander or Jacob Vrana or David Pastrnak

1.) Nylander
2.) Schmaltz
3.) Rinehart
4.) McCann
5.) Audette

One from each league in the order I see them picked so far.

Recent video on Sam Reinhart. Could turn out a great 2-way player, good leadership, had success everywhere he went. But still don't see his upside. Probably will suffer the Couturier's fate.

Saw Daniel Audette play several times; twice live. He doesn't really impress me to be honest. I think he may be a little overrated here. Looking forward to getting another chance to see him this year, though.

For the 1st overall hype, he's awful. Reminds me of Archambault.

Reinhart has way more offensive ability than couts. I could see him crack the 70 mark

-I.Barbashev W Moncton
-A.Pepin W Charlottetown

Agreed with that. Not a great year but not a disaster like 2010 or 2012. Besides 2015 looks promising for the Q too. I am convinced Nantel will make a push for the top 2 rounds like Gauthier or Dauphin did. Another darkhorse is Francis Perron. Huge offensive skills but needs to bulk up big time this offseason. Could either rocket on the draft boards or go undrafted.

Ehlers selected by Halifax. Russell confident he'll come over.

Seen him play 35+ games.

He's easily the most talented forward from the 'Q after Barbashev.

Pro potential can be quesionable because of his size, but he's very strong for a kid of his stature, just like his dad was.

Biggest strenght is his vision and his play-making. On the PP, he's a real poison. Audette is also pretty reliable defensively and he's willing to block shot.

The only real downside might be that he's undisciplined(read here unnecessary penalties) and that he's of small stature.

He should produce around a point per game next season, on a middle of the pack team.

What do you think about Lucas Batt from Moncton ? I saw him twice, he hit everything that moved. But he didn't show anything else. Does he have some skills (offensively/defensively) ?

Who is available at 30th overall?

I believe that we'll have a mid-round pick so who's available around there?

Crisp

Didn't we get Crisp in the same way the Kings took McSorley?
