Don't see many rumors about Ribeiro. Reason?

I don't expect much, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

If something happens you won't hear about it until it happens. Kinda like the Dallas/Boston deal yesterday.
I think we sign a backup goalie and make a splash for a top 6 forward in a trade today.. It's time for another theft like what happened at the trade deadline.
The way things are going i am not sure we can get a FA without overpaying severely.

If we are as aggressive today as that stupid Ace banner we will be in great shape!

IPhone I don't see said banner.

I'm just expecting another summer of discontent

Poile saying we have money to spend today.

Asked whether he has the financial flexibility to reel in players on his wish list, specifically at the forward position, general manager David Poile quickly said, “I know we do.”

Preds were willing to pay Suter and Parise last year. Not sure if they will find the player/players they are willing to spend this sure money on.

last year we were going for the home run to get over the hump for a cup but didnt really have to fill any big holes.

this summer, we absolutely must have at least one top 6 winger, and preferably two...

poile will overpay but I believe he fills the holes

He is going to have to overpay several other teams. Hopefully the checks don't bounce

It feels weird not actively hoping the Red Wings dont pick someone up, but now I guess we have Dallas.

I am, but I somehow doubt the price tag will be what Poile is willing to spend.

Would Poile think about putting out an offer sheet on a RFA on a money strapped team??

Depends how expensive he is I guess. Adding Brunner and then potentially trading Ellis for Connolly would be a great way to mini-rebuild the offensive core.

Wilson, Hornqvist and Forsberg get Brunner and Connolly to work with.

Why not spend $3.25 million on a fourth line center on a cash strapped team who struggles to score goals?
