Bruins fan here, but outside of age and potential, was Ericksson considered to top player of the Stars, or was it Benn?

How would fans feel if it was Benn instead of Ericksson?

Benn is a franchise player, and one of our best. Loui was too, but Benn is better. If it was Benn, I would question my loyalty to this team.

So we answered your question... But C'mon, couldn't you find a better thread on here to spell his name wrong in?

Sorry but i can't understand. Seguin has more potential than either. (not saying he is better than Benn, but being #2 picked is still worth something)

If the Bruins wanted Benn, than Nil says no?? imo Bruins could of had Benn but the deal would of had to been worked out differently. For example no Peverly contract to absorb and minus one of your prospects. But i think Benn's contract was too similiar to Seguins which was a big reason why Bruins made the trade for Eriksson (pardon the spelling mistake)

I guess you have your answer then. Nill is not new to GM'ing and Loui for Seguin was a better deal for the Stars according to you

Gonna miss him. He was never my favorite, but you seriously cannot ask for a better guy on and off the ice. He truly was the complete package.

This thread is really depressing.
I have never met Loui personally, but I feel like I lost a calm, reserved two-way (not in a gay way ((not that theres anything wrong with that))) friend.

Really thought he would be a Star for life.

I hate that I won't be able to scream "Swedish Meatball!" and proceed to fistpump every time he scores. I also hate that I feel obligated to root for Boston now. ****.

This thread makes me sad. I keep telling myself you get Seguin coming in. You'll be missed Loui.

I'm pouring one out for Loui right now

But really, he's going to be missed so badly. Easily one of my favorite Stars of all-time.

Loui is a special player and one of the best draft picks and players ever in Dallas Stars. He will be greatly missed.

Thank you.

Someone needs to make a highlight video of Loui with that song

Or my heart will go on from Titanic.
