Video of the last minute of game 7 versus the Hitmen. Screw the Shaw guys, it's plenty loud in there.

Not OKs but WHL related but we won't be seeing hotshot Tyler Benson in the Dub with the Giants immediately as the family has decided he'll play midget this season.

Already happened (results), the Oil Kings didn't pick til the second round since their first was used in the Musil deal.

Since I have no idea who any of these kids are, here's some info from an Oil Kings prespective.

so they just drafted Lars Eller's little bro, Mads. the kid just turned 18, his numbers aren't that impressive, but he's been playing for U20 sides a lot.

No where NEAR the talent of Lars, but his style is more suited to the NA play than Sweden I would say.. So don't put to much into his Numbers in Sweden.

He is not NHL caliber as of now, but he could become a solid CHL player and maybe go as an overager next year

Here's hoping you guys and Portland make it to the Finals again, id like to see two danes battle it out

Sadly I think, we will have to do more hoping for the Oil kings to make the Finals.

They will be a playoff team but probably just barely. All depends on who comes back.

Havent thought about it for awhile. Reinhart is the big question mark. Does he make the Islanders?

Players that wont be back.....Ewanyk, Brossoit, Gernat, Musil, Lowe, St. Croix, Wruck, Foster, just off the top of my head. I may be missing some. Cheek.

Samuelsson will be back if he doesnt make the Coyotes. Moroz and Lazar. Likely Legault. Depends who they want to keep as 20yr olds I suppose. Corbett would be likely. Sautner, Baddock, Benson, Kulda, Bertolucci, Pollock, Mayo, Schmoorkoff.

New or newish may be Ralph, Irving, Carroll, possibly Craig Simpson's kid and the newly acquired import Eller.

Good chance he is coming back and Lazar will stay on the wing

Here's @Shmerks_26 Stephen Shmoorkoff at #Oilers Hockey School today. #whl #givingback pic.twitter.com/G3fUHcoxqw
(I laughed way too hard at this. Stephen Shmoorkoff = the new Shawn Horcoff?)

It's still a pretty solid and likely playoff-bound group. I suspect that they'll know where they stand after NHL training camps finish. They'll be a lot less dynamic unless a few of their younger guys really blossom.

3 weeks until main camp, thoughts on how the season will start and how many guys may miss the start of the Oil Kings season while away with their Pro teams. Young guys may have to step up big time this year.

New Oil Kings GM is indeed former assistant Randy Hansch. Hopefully he can replicate the successes Green had with the team.

The team was dealt another blow today.

Big blow for Edmonton as the Oil Kings announce that Stephane Legault won't play his 20 year old season. Opting to attend NAIT instead. #WHL
