Dreger: Mike Stone resigns with Phx 3 years ... Pending RFA.

Mirtle: Sharks re-sign Scott Hannan.

I'm stuck at work all day. Is there anything Rangers related out there? Hell, I'll even take rumors at this point

They are, just not at the extremes that were there before.

Gross: For the #NYR, it means they don't send 2014 second-round pick to Sharks since they didn't re-sign Clowe. San Jose gets a fifth-round pick.

$4.85 for Clowe is bad. 5 years is awful.

Clowe interview was great.

Q: "Besides the money, why New Jersey?"

A: "...well, for the term...."

Scuderi is 10000000x the player Orpik and Niskanen are. He is 'the piece'.

They are still allowed. It's just if Horton retires early, they will get a cap recapture penalty. The last 2 years pay him 7.1 mil. It's not that far below the AAV so not that big of a deal. And Horton is only 28. The only way he retires before 35 is due to injuries, and columbus can put him on IR every year instead of him retiring, a la philly and Pronger.

Nope, just that McDonagh is probably close to re-signing/already re-signed.

Oh, and you'll need a new handle as Clowe just signed an awful deal in NJ.

Clowe tells TSN teams were worried about his injuries, but NJD stepped up with the term (5 yrs). Gave him security.
Other teams obviously saw what we saw, but the Devils are in a pretty bad spot losing Clarkson. Desperately needed someone offensively.

Sad part of it, Rangers are going to remain middle of the pack (or lower)for quite some time. Can't wait to see how far this team falls when Henrik looks to get paid. Team is going to have to look to make a few trades, as compared to signing FA's

So looks like Raymond, Gordon, Scuderi are off the table. Lapierre, Nystrom, Gilbert next?

People need to stop thanking Lou.

Everyone on here knows Clowe is going to be amazing for the Devils. Everything works out for them.

Were Asham and Powe bought out? I just saw them both up on the FA page as FA's.

wow...just...awful.
