I wonder if an NHL team has ever carried 11 centers at once

Yes he is. I do think he's a solid get if we get him though.

We would have been seeing them last year if we didn't give 2k tickets a game away.

More so that. Haven't we already overpaid Goose to essentially do what Cullen does? Yes I know Cullen has more offense but isn't that what Fisher is for?

Literally he is between Fisher and Goose. What we need is someone better than legwand and fisher down the middle offensively.

Why do we ever get excited for anything as preds fans? Womp womp

At least we will get another top five pick and probably get screwed into a defenseman again.
How's this crop of draft eligibles looking?

Cullen?! Who cares, keep yip and forget Cullen. So unimpressed.

I really start to think that people don't come to Preds not because of the City or Organization, but Managment. There is obviously something in between players that they know and we don't.

he isnt flashy but he is like having another leggy. You know hes a perfect fit for Nashville despite the fact that he is redundant and thats exactly what Poile said he was trying to stay away from.

I will say he is an upgrade over Halischuk and even Goose.

The guy is 33 and signed a 4 year deal. You think we should have given him 5?

4.5m, 5.5m, 6m, 6m. Would be a disaster for Preds.

So we're going after the Kings/Bruins model... I don't understand why we don't go after the solid all around model and add a goal scorer.

I think it's a small market, viewed as fairly boring, with no tradition of winning. Good players want a shot at a Cup, especially veterans. They don't want to willingly sign away several years of their career going to a team they just don't see having a realistic shot. Unless you're Columbus.

We can't be built in that model seeing as we don't have a single player who is going to sniff over 60 points next year.

Cullen is more of the same. I am really starting to believe it is either Coach or Management that is the problem. Not the city or the fans.

Columbus is on the way up. They have Davidson and JK running things now. They are more attractive then Nashville. They are basically the new Blues..

NHL ‏@NHL 30s
RT ‏@NHL_Sens: #Sens have agreed to terms with forward Clarke MacArthur on a two-year contract.

We can't go after the bruins model or kings model when each of those teams have 4-5 forwards who are all far better than any forward on our roster.

I am a fan of this team. I have a full and a partial season ticket, have traveled to see them play in other arenas. I want us to be successful. What I am seeing is players saying no thanks to our city, our fans and our team. Something is rotten at 5th and broadway and it ain't catfish.
