no one mentions that Clarkson's 150 PIM are 150 terrible penalty minutes.

This Clarkson deal is a model for what Callahan will get. We're in trouble.

Every deal is too much it seems, gotta overpay to get them.

The real question is who will be available next summer when Sather has the room to drop another one of these bad boys on us

Mike Ribeiro just mentioned on TSN that he signed in Phoenix because he has a good prior relationship with him. Makes sense. Says the decision on who would coach him was the number one concern.

The Stalberg singing is fine. Preds still have space to burn and Legwand at 4.5 comes off next year.

I'm sure that Callahan will get good money, but not kill his team either. He's the captain and I surely doubt he'll ask for something that high (money wise) like Clarkson will get.

What drives me nuts is when guys like Scuderi come on the phone and talk about how they didnt know what teams were involved, like they were letting their agents take care of everything and they really dont have a choice - yet during the lockout all of the players wanted to represent themselves on some legal issues that were way over their head. Annoying

if cally wants 7-8 years for 6m+ as a 29 year old then we would have to let him go.

Usually, that's on the instruction of the individual player. If he says "I don't care, as long as it's in the East", then what's wrong with that?
