I'd like to point out again that we signed Matt Hendricks for 4-year, $7.4 million

i am slightly confused with the Hendricks signing.

I do believe that we have a trade in the works and could be moving quite a few pieces. Probably nothing spectacular but there will be a move you have to think

Also i do not believe we are done with the signings. Gotta think a #1C for us is there somewhere. Either Filpulla or Grabo?? PLEASEEEEE

Hutton could be a signing that allows one of the Admirals goalies to come up. Hellberg?

Creating some competition at camp for the back up role. Whoever it is will only be playing 10 or so games anyway.

The Predators now have the 7th highest cap hit in the league. Only about $5 million left.

Has been in Rockford the past couple years. The Goalie Guild on twitter says Korn likes him.

No. I'd say his worst off season was the one after he spent two years building a legitimately talented, balanced team only to have to gut it because he and the rest of us thought the team was getting ready to pack its bags.

At least I'd imagine he would point to that one if you were to ask him.

The Stalberg signing is the only decent signing so far. WTH is going on? We will have a great AHL roster if this keeps up. This is becoming embarrassing.

Sounds like Hutton will be the backup.

You guys added some character today. Hendricks and Nystrom. Dollars might be a bit much for some but I also like Stalberg.

We have a number of redundant pieces that could be used for a trade right now methinks. Gaustad instantly springs to mind.

I think one or more of Goose, Spaling, Smith and Ellis are on their way out, so that may change.

Likely.

That number doesn't include Spaling as he is a RFA. Also doesn't includes Jones's contract.

Other than Stalberg, who atleast brings an element of speed, very disappointed. Who the heck is this goalie? Have never heard of him before, not in minor league circles, no where.

With a solid bottom six Trotz will be able to play younger, skilled guys (Forsberg, Wilson, Beck, Stalberg) who don't play defense all that well with more protected minutes starting a lot of time in the offensive zone. That is a positive, but we still need to add someone to the top six. Give me Iggy or Jags or Roy or Ryder.

Because Mitch Korn is arguably the best goalie coach in the entire league.
