I agree with you on most topics but I have to disagree here. Hamonic makes WAY more glaring mistakes than Staal.

I love how we have a quiet day and what do we do? We fight over moves the Rangers weren't involved in

I didn't say he was better than Staal. I agreed he would be a #4 on this team, but that doesn't mean he is VERY good.

so they will make more moves but right now alot of 1 way contracts

Nash, Stepan, Callahan
Hagelin, Richards, Zuccarello
Boyle, Brassard, Dorsett
Pyatt, Moore, Asham
Powe, Haley

technically Kreider is not a 1 way but likely on team

I guess Canucks aren't resigning Lapierre.

Clowe, Clarkson getting paid like superstars that they are... not.

This is the worst FA market ever. Normally I'm the one lecturing others not to expect UFAs to get paid like RFAs, but this is ridiculous.

Easily the two worst contracts given out today. Anybody else surprised that Komisarek only got 700k?

He was given an NMC on that deal. I have a feeling he took less money to be guaranteed not to ride the bus in the AHL.

I've watched him plenty, and I still like MDZ at his best better. My point is, I'm not giving even Staal a 7 year deal right now. I think that long of a commitment for a good (not great) player is just silly.

Once Iginla signs somewhere I will be able to exhale. Since it will mean we successfully stayed away from doing something dumb today. The overpaying for mediocrity that has occurred today is just remarkable. Stay away from the phone Glenn!

I like the Moore signing. No risk and he could be a useful piece this year.

Id give Iginla 1 year at 2 mil.

he'll get A LOT more elsewhere though.

good depth player for us, esp with the injuries we have to start the season.

Kreider-Stepan-Nash
Zuccarrello-Richards-Callahan
Hagelin-Brassard-Boyle?
Haley-Moore-Dorsett..

could really use one more top 9 player, preferably top 6..

and before anyone says anything, I get that Kreider isn't a top line player yet but he might work really well with Stepan and Nash.

AV said the Rangers want to have alot of young guys competing for spots.. we have 4 bottom 6 fixtures for sure at the moment (brassard/richards (whoever is worse in camp), Boyle, Dorsett and Moore.
