I don't think anyone would be scared to mess with them. Cooke is just dirty. We'd get beat on more.

Good. His sideshow wasn't needed here.

****! Lame. I miss Lappy and his troll antics and occasional highlight reel play.

Not really. Almost 35 and under 6 feet. He's just a pain in the but and usually gets killed by opposing enforcer.

I'd take Cooke. And trust me, Bergeron can spin anything as "character".

Why do people keep calling him Bergeron?

what sideshow? the way he plays would help our smaller players out, all he does is attract everyones hate.
they would just target him as opposed to everyone else

Dumont is not necessarily better, but trust me, Lapierre is a head case and will wear out his welcome just like he has everywhere else. He's got size and some ability, but will never put it together. He always frustrated me in Montreal because I knew he could do better, but rarely did.

and a 30 second highlight does not a career make. See Perezoghin and Ward (Jason?) if you don't believe me.

I'd take Iginla or Jagr. Cooke wouldn't be too bad either.

2 year deal for Lappy too.. Dammit.

I want him back with the Habs at some point. Every time I went to a game live he always had his best games.

Penner or Brunner. Iggy is too expensive for starters. The rest don't meet our needs.

Stewart is headed to arbitration. STL wanted him at 4.5.. Good luck with that.

I liked Penner more when an Oiler. What happened on Kings?

He's a big guy at 6'5" but doesn't drop them much, but at least he's big. I think we could get him fairly cheap, so yeah, he's fine by me. Maybe he will thrive on our team with our speedsters. Maybe.
