Lefebvre as part of the deal makes it much better, as it gets a contract off the books.

Yeah I see that as more of a plus for us than giving up an asset. Not sure why Lefebvre was given that contract to begin with.

Actually that alone might make us a better team...
Well, I think it means more that Therrien has 12 forwards to play in any given game. Usually it's in set trios, or set combinations on special teams, but at ES you can doubleshift a top winger and have Parros skip a turn. It's not like Parros has to play every shift that the two other 4th line players play, especially if they're decent.

Anyway, I can hardly find a reason to complain. He cost nothing in terms of assets or even contracts under the 50 rule (1 in, 1 out, unless Lefebvre was on an AHL contract? ). He'll probably fight about 12-20 times next year, which should keep some of the other teams' meatheads busy for 5 minutes at a time, which is 5 minutes that they won't won't be harassing the Habs' other players.

It is a bit of a stark contrast though, from Briere to Parros. Rounding out the team with extremes.

Absolutely. Leaves us with some room to transform some invitations into contract at the end of dev. camp.

Was worth it. Was there at the dev. camp he came in and did very good. But he didn't progress.

But wasn't there a lot of skepticism when he was giving a 3 yr deal instead of 2 years? I seem to remember that, but it might have been someone else.

the habs have gotten smaller on the wings compared to last year's opener too.

Cole has essentially turned into Briere

Parros now takes the crown as the tallest player on the team. Taking it from our ****ing goalie.

Yes, Price was our "biggest" player

Hopefully... Hopefully Travis Moen steps it up.

Moen can feel his balls getting bigger as we speak. Prusts and Whites were already huge so no change there.

Maybe we should just go all out for guys like Parros, Briere, and other cheap signings people think are washed up. It could be like that movie Major League. Maybe the only thing keeping Blunden from being a fifty goal scorer is a pair of eye glasses.

It also says that it was edited a long ass time ago.

I wish it was me. Being able to edit posts and make it look like you made the edit yourself would be one hell of a trick.

Lol...
We may not win them all but we won't be overmatched. Parros and Prust should win us some big fights at home... at least a few times... I think... alright I hope.
