How about we finally give a legitimate chance to Leblanc for a change??

I hope they pick up some young AHLers that might be able to be depth guys for the habs also...kinda like what we've done with Blunden. There are plenty guys available as UFA's.

I don't know about putting him at center...but I really hope they put him in the top 6 at the AHL level. Last season his use was pretty ridiculous IMO. 2nd PP no PK on the 3rd line.

We could use a 3rd line center like LL.

What about Keith Aucoin (C)? He's UFA. He's small but is an AHL veteran and puts up good numbers. Actually played with the Isles last year but I don't see him as having made the NHL more that the Isles lacked some depth at times because of injuries etc.

He's be shifted to the wing by the looks of it, but either way Hamilton needs some AHL veterans.

Seems like Andrighetto will be in Hamilton next year.

He said his goal is to play for Hamilton and get a few games in Montreal.

Keith Aucoin made a fair amount last year in the AHL (in terms of AHL salaries), so I imagine he'd want another "handsome" contract.

Our roster(MTL) is full now. If we sign an other 1-way deal forward that would probably mean that Dumont will be sent down to Hamilton. I doubt, it will happened. I think that Bergevin has mostly finish his work for this summer. Adding a good AHL call-up player is probably the only job left for Bergevin.
It's pretty much the same with the D. But, for the moment we have room because of the injury of Emelin, because of this Tinordi will probably start the season with a Habs jersey and when Emelin will comeback I think Tinordi will stay with the big club, because other players will probably be injured. Drewisky will probably be scratch many games, when there will be spot available he will probably see players like Beaulieu, Pateryn and Nygren take is turn. We need more depth at the D position for Hamilton. We could try more players like Corbin.
Also, we will have to see what will happened with Mayer.

Top AHLer-Bournival-Leblanc
Thomas-Holland-Andrighetto
Blunden-Nattinen-Belzile
Quailer-AHLer-Goon AHLer
AHLer

Beaulieu-Pateryn
Nygren-Ellis
Dietz-AHLer
AHLer

Tokarski
Condon
_
Delmas

With the new arrival of Nygren, Andrighetto and Dietz and most importantly 1 year of experience at the pro level for most of these guys this team will look way better than the one of last year.

Hamilton has a solid chance at finishing out of the cellar this year, their defence;

N. Beaulieu
M. Ellis
G. Pateryn
M. Nygren
D. Deitz
D.Thrower
M.Grassi
F. Simonelli
C. Sullivan

So nine possibilities the first five probable, here are three UFA's;

C.Teubert
A.Plante
T.Wishart

All three are former 1st round picks that have had NHL tryouts and to varying degrees haven't cut it and could be great for the Bulldogs, a couple of them couldn't hurt.

Then the offence could use a little infusion of tough, bigger forwards with Exp.;

Centers:
Nick Tarnasky
Ben Maxwell
Mitch Wahl
None are tough but can play at AHL level really well.

Forwards;

JF Jacques - LW - Enforcer and capable AHLer.

Jack Skille - RW - PWF - former #7 OV pick of Chi., and a great call-up for the Habs for injuries or playoffs. Good Exp. and tough to play against like Jacques, Teubert, Plante.

These players could help round out an AHL team like Hamilton with so many smaller rookies. The trade for C.Thomas is outstanding, hopefully Leblanc and Naatinen come back like gangbusters for the Bulldogs and lead them into the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Jack Skille might get claimed if we ever call him up, or before we can even send him down.

I didn't hear great things about Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond, don't remember the thread. Do you want most of these guys only because they are from the province of Quebec?

Not really. I think all those players would be great fit. Also, when it comes to farm depth, the Habs seem to opt for local talent (just look at our development roster)

By the way, I'm not aware of those problems regarding P3L. Hamilton will need a goon and hopefully they'll get someone better than Hagel and Stortini.

Didn't really hear anything but I saw so much hate toward him by NJ fans just search PL3 and you will see threads similar to what was done with Stortini

Blunden-Bournival-Holland
??-Nattinen-Quailer
??-??-Fournier

Beaulieu-Dietz
Tinordi-Pateryn

Tokarski
Mayer
Condon

This is what we have to work with assuming Fournier and Trainor are signed. Right now we've only got 7 forwards for Hamilton.

Didn't the habs sign Duffy, McCaulay & Desjardin?

I saw Duffy & MacAulay at the development camp the other day & they both looked good.

Thought Nygren was being loaned to Farjestad next season? Has something changed?
