2] no Jagr is not looking for 2 years deal. He said he wants 1 year deal now at his age and go 1 by 1 year. He loves hockey, he wants to play he wants to be useful.

3] yes he did not score... he had some mad bad luck 3 posts 2 of them should be in for sure but it just didnt happen for some reason

4] what can you read about Jagr he made some nice passes to Bergy and Marchand, but if you watched closely Marchand never made pass to Jagr even he was comming alone from 2nd wave or just standing alone by goalie, B fans are not gonna admit that but i know what i saw.
In the end Jagr developrd chemistry with Bergeron, but Bergeron got injured and dissapeared just like Marchand, Seguin.

5] the mad chemistry between him and Plekanec is real, in Kladno Jagr was on pace to have most points in league in fact i think he was 2nd in the end even he was not there for whole season, on pace close to 1.7 ppg.

6] Look what Jagr did with Hartnell and Giroux. They had good chemistry and Jagr was on pace of 1ppg till half of season where he got renewed his old groin injury (in the flyers- rangers game) since then he rushed back to game, got injured again... never healed in that season. Tho last year it seemed ok till last game? we dont know what happend him there.

Yes he is slow, he can still make his mates free and make sick pass, he can get himself free and score, but that didnt work with Marchand..
he is still well worth of 3M for next year
I completely forgot about him playing in the Czech league.

We're kinda full already, though.

The top 9 would be crowded...but Jagr on a 1 year deal would be worth it, he's still an excellent player. Unlike Daniel Briere..

Sign him, one year. He can teach the kids and even hold some of those late night practices. Yes, he's looking for money first, but he is a team guy once he gets there. And if we're out of contention in February, deal him even for a 2nd.

Bourque Plek Jagr -the not so flashy but gets the job done line

1 year, assuming between 2.5 and 3 million? Get it done, Bergy.

Not sure if this is a joke...Comparing a 41 year old way past his prime to a 22 year old that is just getting going in his career is plain stupid.

aww not that money is his priorit again... please;(

ok one last time im posting this next time i ll just ignore it, its getting old.

If you care, go and google offers from KHL he got before he came back and signed to flyers. if i remember correctly it was close something like 5$ dollars maybe even more BUT in russia there are way smaller fees, he would have to pay then in US/Canada, means he could earn way .. WAY more than in any team in NHL. I also read when he joined to flyers he had higher offer from other NHL teams from more sources..

which makes point MONEY first invalid..
only pens fans spread this info because Jagr declined their what was it 1.5$ offer? not sure now. But Jagr thought he would not get enough space next to crosby malkin ect... instead he got better offer from flyers, but he was promised 1st line and to play with Giroux, something Pens could not offer him...

well but for ppl who want to hate its easy to throw dirt on Jagr and just say money> all...

If Bergevin does sign him he's trading one of Desharnais or Gionta, preferably Desharnais.

Trade Gionta for whatever you can get for him (preferably a big, tough rugged D that can take some pressure off of Emelin)

Sign Jagr to an one-year deal.

With these two moves, I would feel pretty good about the Habs going into next season, even with our division being insanely stacked.

I don't understand why so many guys think DD is being traded. Who would want the little guy at 3.5 mill for 4 years?

Grant had already told you all...but if you needed ANOTHER confirmation....I would have done it. But Habs only exist to Jagr so to upgrade his value. Difference is that he found out Bergevin isn't really that type of guy....

I too would be very excited to swap out either DD or Gionta for JJ. And, I hope we only give JJ a 1 yr deal.

Jagr would be AWESOME. He draws the defence on the other team away, is still highly skilled, and hey, he'll make the games a bit more exciting. Good role model for some of the younger kids.

Sign him up. $4.5 mill, 1 year.

3.5 million isn't a big cap hit, plus if you surround him with big wingers he can be productive. He's a good passer, terrible fit here. I think alot of team would take a cheap, 60 point player like him.
