What prospect? Because nothing they have impresses me.

They have so little.

Other than their recent draft picks, there's TJ Brodie and Sven Bartschi.... neither of them I would do in the proposed package.

You wouldnt do Sven Bartschi? Dont know about that. Kid is going to be legit. Honestly, the Flames wouldnt do the trade if it was Bartschi that was the prospect.

Yeah I agree. Bärtschi is the only thing I can think of but it's not good enough IMO.

Edit: If it's Bärtschi + 2014 1st we're talking then maybe since I imagine they'll be a top 5 pick next season and the Flyers could use another LW. Still I don't much like the idea of moving Couturier and I imagine the Flames wouldn't much like the idea of moving Bärtschi.

If the Flyers can add EJ or Bogo for Laughton and picks (s) that would make more sense.
Sorry but I disagree. For me, they are on the same level right now based on athletism and defensive coverage.

But if you include the Hockey IQ and potential I see Bogo miles ahead.

T.J. Brodie was 8th among all NHL defensmen in Relative Corsi last year. He's a stud.

Hahaha, fair enough.

Also, while I don't really want to see couts traded... If we can get calgarys 1st round pick, which will likely be a lottery pick and possibly top 3, and potentially get a guy like Ekblad... That's someone I'd have to think long and hard about.

He was the best player in college hockey last year as a sophomore, and led the WJC in goals. As someone that has seen him in person 4-5 times each the past two years, his size doesn't matter. He has a nose for the net, and knows how to find open space, a lot like Briere. You lose track of him, and next thing you know he's wide open and about to score.

Also note, Flyers are at 50 contracts, technically. They have 2 slide contracts in Laughton and Stolarz, with Laughton likely staying, that leaves one open contract.

Flyers won't be signing any free agents without a trade first....

Gadreau's built like a 12 year old & Rinaldo's completely filled out. It's hard to compare the two body wise.

I highly doubt that. If a good trade comes along involving that pick they would be stupid not to approve it. I would agree that they may value that pick more than they normally would and more than other teams would but I doubt it's completely out of the question to move it.

Luukko's been fighting for a decade to get the draft and all-star game to Philadelphia.

That and the new CBA has new language that prevent poison pill offer sheets....

I'm pretty sure we are at 46 SPC and have two slides there. So we actually have room for 6 contracts. We really don't have any cap space to sign anyone. 1.8 or right around there.

I don't even believe he's 180. He has to be like 195.
