It's absolutely ridiculous to even suggest Holmgren is the worst. He's not even in the worst-15.

So, I've been away since June 25th. Anything worth talking about happen since then?

Vinny, Streit, Emery and Hall signed with us. Drafted someone that might become like Myers or at the best possible outcome Chara (even though it might be a bit of a reach). Got a really good two-way D-man for our 2nd round. 3rd rounder was Rinaldo 2.0. Watching some of the new signings that turn out to be horrible contracts (other teams) has been a fun ride (and funny).

Sop take your pick.

I meant to say "so". Oh well . But really, seeing some people react to the Clarkson signing and then see some of them say that he will hit 30 goals or 40 goals next season is pretty ****ing hilarious.

yeah it has been a good offseason. But im worried about the goalie situation for the next offseason.

What if they both play well. What if they both suck. Lets say you play mason 50 games and he has a 905 svp but emery in his 32 games has a 920.

do you sign emery in the offseason? can he handle 50- 60 games a year?

Seriously. The lockout season was such an illusion for some teams.
This couldn't be more true. One good or bad stretch in a shortened season could be the difference between making or not making the playoffs. It's the single biggest reason why I'm against shortening the schedule. 82 games is perfect for weeding out the pretenders.

I think a better question would be "How is Jay Feaster still employed?"

The question that comes to mind for me is "How was Jay Feaster ever employed in the first place?"

He was the GM in Tampa '04 when they won the Cup. He can't cut it in the salary cap era and is living off his past accomplishments.

I legit feel bad for Calgary fans. That dude is just horrible. He could be the worst front office exec in all of pro sports. And that includes Ruben Amaro.

@EdmontonOilers: #Oilers acquire David Perron from the @StLouisBlues in exchange for Magnus Paajarvi and a 2014 second-round draft pick.
