People vote on different things. I vote on their upside coupled with evidence of that upside.

Darren Dietz for me. Add Crisp.
Completely agree on DLR over Leblanc and I picked Dietz as well.

Based on what? Frankly, he's too high if he wins this round which looks possible.

I wouldn't write off Leblanc yet but I'm very skeptical he will be more than a 3rd liner. He's continuing to struggle to bulk up, and it's very concerning because if we are talking players with questionable upside, DLR already has him physically beat.

You think vail sucks? Or that he'd be traded? IMO he's looking like a real good bet for at least 4th line C at this point.

really? the fact that he has actually played an nhl game. mccarron, hudon and de la rose may never make it. they might but at this point u know what u have with leblanc. u don't with the other three. next yr at this time COULD be different. ppl r pushing leblanc aside because he didn't put up point. having a shoulder injury really hurts your chance at putting points up. ppl sitting on the couch don't realize that cause they never move.

You do know Leblanc has already played 42 games for the habs, right?

Leblanc has a decent chance of proving the nay sayers wrong this year.

He was solid in 2011-12, both in the AHL and the NHL considering it was his first pro season. He hit a wall last season, true. He struggled mightily with injuries this season and the let down of having been in the NHL and having to go back to the AHL.

I still believe in Leblanc, although I don't think he'll ever reach his ceiling of a Top 6 forward. I think he can realistically become a solid third-line winger who can chip in 10-15 goals/25-30 points while being excellent on the penalty kill as well. Very smart player. I hope he pans out.

He's trade bait, I really see other teams eying him up at this point.

Just because he played NHL games does not mean that he is a surefire top prospect that should rank 5th out of our pool. There's a lot of guys in it that have a higher upside than Leblanc and are younger, naturally they will take precedence in a poll over a guy who has a sophomore in the AHL should have done more to help his team.

We know that we have a skinny bean pole kid who has yet to differentiate himself from his peers with any skill. A guy who, despite the injuries in the play-offs, did not make his way into the line-up over a guy like Blunden.

Leblanc didn't have a shoulder injury last year, he had an ankle sprain, that's fine, but that's only an excuse for so long. As for the personal attack on the posters voting, I think that really hurts the credibility of your argument.

A player who's done more at a younger age is a lesser prospect than a player that's done less at an older age ?

HF standards.

Dietz for me. I feel he has more upside than Leblanc. Lehkonen would be next on my list.

Leblanc, Dietz, and Lehkonen were all in contention but I went with Bennett, I just have a soft spot for this guy. Next few are going to be tricky and I'll just pick whatever I feel at the moment, but those guys, even a few others, all very close to me and hard to put one above the other.

De la rose and Hudon are about 4 spots too high.

I think Louie is done. Put a fork in him. He must lack the passion or something.

Skillwise Leblanc deserves to be there, but this is really a breakout year for him, hope he can pull a Pacioretty.
