I want to see Wilm play! his speed and grittyness would be useful against the Devils

Wilm's an improvement over Leeb and Wellwood.

And Belfour's back.

How do you think that Leeb and Wellwood will handle the big blow out game and then getting sent down right away? Anyone think it may affect their game at all? I could maybe see it as not a problem but with WIlm getting called up it seems like the Brass didn't like what they saw or that they need Wilm for a grittier game on Sat. Though everyone knew that the game against Ottawa was going to be tough.

I think Wellwood knows that he's an AHL player (right now) and was awarded with that 1 game in the NHL for his fine play for St. John's.

I don't think it really affects them (Leeb and Wellwood) all that much.

Now if it were Hedin........

You may be right but I think it has to affect them on some level. I could be wrong though....it has happened before

I don't think Wellwood expected to play in the NHL prior to this season... so it's not going to hurt him as much as it would guys like Colaiacovo or even Spezza (last year).
