So Ghost and Hagg should hit the Flyers at the same time. Not bad.

Not that I think it will happen but some speculate that Haag, if he can show some consistency, might have a chance next season.

I've heard that he also wants to remain with MoDo for 2 more seasons before coming to the NHL/AHL. Maybe that will change. Plenty of ex-NHLers around MoDo who can whisper something in his ear about the Flyers and send him over.

He said 1 or 2 years in an interview after getting picked. Peter Forsberg is the owner of Modo and I believe Reneberg is a tv analyst for SHL games over there so the Flyers have some familar faces over there. Hell Ulf Samuelsson is the coach of Modo if you want to include him as well.

-------------

As for Gostibehere I still don't think it's out of the question for him to leave College after this upcoming season despite what he says now. There's always agents & advisors pushing kids to do what's best for them. Gostibehere may not have anything left to prove at that level after next year if he matches this past year again.

Who better to learn from than Forsberg? Obviously I may be a bit biased.

Seems to be some good and bad. Seems to have some trouble physically where against guys like Wilcox right now he struggled nightly to get past him (Wilcox I satcom defensively so hard to get past him). Cousins got past him the 2nd time using another gear.

Straka seemed to have gotten laid out by Luukko but did it to get a scoring chance (and close to scored apparently)

Anybody at this camp that might sneak into the team? Seems like one of those years like almost nobody is gonna make it on.

Other than Laughton? I think Straka. A lot of the guys watching the camp says he is one of if not performing the best out of the forward prospects. (Includes Laughton). He has some chance.

Other notes: leier is flying around the ice. Super agile. Ghost is ripping shots into the net. That kids shot is crazy.

In my mind I penciled in Laughton, even though now I'm not sure he makes it w/ Hall resigned.

Scott Laughton is much improved. His skating and his wrist shot is the hardest here. #Flyers

Morin having trouble with speedy guys. Johnson blowing past him in the edges. Something we all knew about though. One of morins biggest flaws

He'll have to learn to use his size.

Samuel Morin has some reach. Giving Laughton problems #Flyers

Laughton figured out. Keep Morin moving laterally and cross over. Smart kid. Hockey sense. #Flyers

Don't waste him on Hall's wing. I'd like to see him on the wing with Couturier and Read/Simmonds. They would be better off sending him back to Juniors if they plan on playing him on the fourth line as a winger.

Even if Morin is getting beat by fast guys, he will eventually adapt and get better skating as well as he fills out his big frame. Love hearing that Laughton is flying and shooting out there.

Laughton is so good.

Honestly, I want him on Couturier's wing. Defensively that line of Laughton - Couturier - Read would be a juggernaut, and Read will help the other two cycle in a bit of offense.

That, or even a 4th line of Talbot-Laughton-Rinaldo would be so fast and devastating for defensemen to deal with that forechecking, plus they'd add a solid amount of offense. A 2-way 4th line that can pick up 10-12 mins a night plus PKing.
