Doubt Toronto will become a contender with Forlan anyways. That club seems to believe it can buy wins and gets new DPs year after year. Montreal built a winning club by creating a winning culture, making players love the team and have an identity.

I think we could try Blake Smith at LB position. He could be fantastic there. His brother can confirm but I remember when he was drafted that he could play left wing or left back. And I still think that Brovsky should be converted to CB and used occasionally at L/RB. Smith got the talent, speed and creativity to be a great LB. He may need work defensively but it wouldn't hurt to try him, at least in the reserves games.

He's got the hustle but if he plays LB, he's gonna need to be more conservative because our CBs are molasses slow. I'd rather LM where he can rocket down the wing and create something.

Hello Fans of #IMFC

Here is the latest on Mount Royal Soccer

The Montreal Impact looking to improve as Transfer Market Window Opens Up
http://www.mountroyalsoccer.com/2013...r-july-mercato

I find the discussion about Blake Smith as a LB very interesting. I do think that he would be more efficient in the last 30-50 meters but he is still young in his developement. Though coming from the NCAA system, I do find him very mature in his game, reflexes and positionning.

He is no Zambrotta or Perrotta or Giggs (yet?) but I find his future to be bright and the Impact is the perfect team for him at this point.

The Montreal Impact and Major League Soccer announced on Wednesday that an official complaint was made to Montreal police last week, following profanity-laden threats made towards one of the first team's players on social media. The Service à la communauté Région Sud, du Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) has opened an investigation and the individual in question will be interviewed by police.

The Impact is taking this incident very seriously and will not accept threats of any kind made by individuals in regards to its players, coaches or administrative staff, in order to ensure their safety

They are going after the retard who wished that Davy Arnaud's family would die in a fire? Good thing! It will probably teach him, and hopefully others, how to behave on social media...

Kind of funny that the guy Retweeted that last night:

if you don't deliver a certain form of respect towards people don't expect anything in return

Lol. I think he can't be worse than Iapichino even defensively. Worth trying definitely. Now we just need to find a way to reach Schalli.
