It's going to be an exciting race to see who the best rookie is in 2013-14.

Always love it when someone pulls out an MP reference.

Any idea on dollar figures yet?

You'd be the worst kind of person for doing so.

Hey if you can take both angles with it, why not.

Good call

Goc mentioned on the trade board that it's expected to be the same as Mac. $3.75-ish.

In the last 15 years only 2 D-men have won the Calder. Lets hope that means they are due to win another and that Jones plays at that level.

We have two potential Calder nominees in Jones and Forsberg. If either of them plays well enough to even be in the conversation it will be a great thing. However, with the rookie competition this year I wouldn't expect much attention given to the kids in Nashville shy of absolutely dominating seasons.

Jones vs. Trouba for the Calder (D-men, anyway).

What? You didn't want to get a jersey when we had Ryan Jones?

I'm a Jones as well. When Ryan Jones was on the Preds my older brother got an odd jersey. His number he always wears is 28 so it worked out perfectly. He had Jones on the back and the number 28 put on but he also put a C on the jersey since he was the captain of his beer league team. That jersey got quite a few weird looks

The odds of us getting a rookie winning a Calder is about the same as weber winning a Norris in Nashville.

He was.

Jones should pick a new number just in case there is a curse.
