He mentioned shopping 3x and his kids once in that last question. Yikes.

What's so wrong about that? I don't know many people who enjoy beying cold.

You guys always look at the stupidest things to bash this guy..."Omg he hates snow, he must be an instigator in the dressing room, I'm glad Bob traded him"....

lol if I have a few minutes I go shopping

That last question of the interview almost seemed like he went out of his way to sound like a metrosexual

When I go to Dallas in December I am so going to try and find him. If I meet him, it'll be so funny.

Will be tough though. Lotsa shopping malls in Dallas.

Nah I just find it ridiculous when people find the stupidest of reasons to bash Ribs, Theodore, Bulis, Zednik...Anyone who's ever done anything for the team.

Well I agree with him about the winter. I hate cold with a passion and if I was a free agent offered millions and millions of dollars there is no way I'd be playing anywhere north of San Jose.

But as for the shopping thing, err.....

Seriously if I actually ran into him in Dallas, I'd have no idea how I react. I absolutely despised him when he played here, so the fan in me would definitely want to heckle him or at least make fun of him or something...but at the same time, the human being in me understands how annoying that would be. It's like "I left Montreal to be chased around by Quebecers who still annoy me?"

A) Theodore deserved it. He played horrible and allowed the weakest goals last season in the NHL.

B) Ribs is actually a jerk. If you met him you would know it.

C) Nobody dissed on Bulis, but it's not like he's doing too great over in Vancouver.

D) Zednik was always one of my fave habs, we did need to get rid of him but nobodies bashing him.

What has ribs done for our team? I think it's more of a question of, what has Montreal done for ribs.

kThx.

Grumpy and mad......I wish we would've been able to see that on the ice.....

Again, trading Ribs is not the problem, getting who we got though.....

But then, some people react better when there's no pressure around them, some needs that, he's definately of the first kind.....

That's why I don't understand why people keep saying that nobody wants our players, I mean, if I would be from another team I would think that if a guy is able to have numbers while playing in the Montreal environment, imagine what he could do with us......

I guess that's what Vancouver and Washington thought though....

Well we can easily bash those guys and talk strickly hockey.

Ribs got more while doing less (though it's Gainey's fault not his....) and didn't stand out while Saks was out in the playoffs (though I wasn't in favor of trading him yet, I don't understand why we didn't want to trade either Huet or Abby 'cause we weren't sure of one or the other, but we traded Ribs even though we weren't sure of Pleks.....) And he's definately not playing a style that most of the guys liked, I guess we prefer our players to not be afraid of mixing it up a little bit and play hard sometimes, which is not Ribs' definition of hockey should be played.....

Theodore will never regain his old form since his old form came with the old NHL...

Bulis and Zednik, two overrated wingers that keep thinking that they were actually better than they really are.....

All of those were good once, not anymore, time to move on.....

So when a player is struggling we should just throw him out to the sharks? He did suck tremendously, but instead of supporting the guy, we threw him out... Luckily that move has worked well for us so far, but still I wish him the best even if I don't like him.

I really don't care how a player is off-ice...He could run over bums like it was his job when he's using his spare time... I've seen Ribs bashed more than anyone and honestly I can't say that if I was treated the way he was by fans, that I wouldn't be bitter and unpleasant.

People laugh at Bulis all the time for thinking that he's a scorer... I don't care how he's doing, but for people to not let things go especially on a player like Bulis who never really did us any wrong is stupid.

People bashed him all the time and they're still hoping for the worse from him and laughing cuz he's not doing well in Washington. Personally I hope he does well and gets his carreer going even if I didn't particularly like his services the last 2 years.

Montreal has done more for Ribs than Ribs did for montreal, but he was still a player on the incline... A few years and the guy might've been a 70-80pt man... We gave up on that "missed project" and now we've got a guy who can't handle 2nd line duties.

Ribs is on pace to his best season in the nhl, so I'll have to disagree. As for theo, he has the talent to bounce back, but maybe the confidence is gone (which would be funny since he seems to be such a cocky guy).

Xept Alexeev and Gagne...Least the guy was getting less manhandled than Pleks is. Might have to do with the fact that Ribs had the second best creativity and vision on the team

It's amazing that we haven't heard of his kids when you consider how much of the press wrote about him. Oh, that's right, everyone was just writing article upon article about how he sucks.

Who cares if he likes shopping? I like to go shopping too. I like new clothes. By the standards on this board I'm clearly gay, or "metrosexual", whatever that is intended to imply. However I'm not metrosexual or gay, I just like to dress nicely. Everyone has their hobbies, and they aren't all video games or computers or whatever. I agree with Shabutie. You guys will go to any length to bash him (and anyone else for that matter).

If you want to bash him from a hockey perspective, or for some reported dressing room conflicts, go ahead. Just don't be a child (directed generally at everyone) and bash him for not liking cold, or enjoying shopping with his kids. You're in the minority if you a) enjoy cold temperatures, or b) don't like spending time with your kids.
