tsn says these are our injuries

Goaltender Ed Belfour (pulled muscle in leg) is day-to- day.

Right wing Owen Nolan (left eye)

center Robert Reichel (shoulder) are expected to be sidelined until late January.

Right wing Alexander Mogilny (hip surgery) is expected to be sidelined until at least March

Why have we been so snake bitten for these last few years? The league needs to cut down the number of games and give these guys more time to rest.

I agree. I remember feeling this way two years ago in the playoffs. It was getting pretty ridiculous how players kept dropping, yet the wins kept coming. As long as Roberts and McCabe are left standing, I think we may be ok.

I think the fact that Kidd/Tellqvist haven't let us down yet is a huge reason why I'm not as worried as I would have been in the past.

Seems like as long as we've got good goaltending, this team can find a way to win.

So what's our lineup now??? Jeez this is crazy!

Roberts - Antropov - Renberg
Ponikarovsky - Nieuwendyk - Tucker
Fitzgerald - Stajan - Domi
Perrott - Wellwood - Leeb

McCabe - Pilar
Berg - Klee
Marchment - Jackman

I guess depleted is a good word here

I have no idea actually. I was looking at a Leaf depth chart and saw a centreman. At that point I didn't know Wellwood was called up either. My bad.

I thought Wellwood had a broken wrist? any how it is kinda over the top how many injories this team has had over the past few years. The sad thing is it seems they happen in bunches not just one player is out of the lineup for a certin period of time it is usuilly between 3-4 players at a time and that's a hell of alot to be taken out of the lineup for any given period of time.!

The St. John's doctors said he had a fractured wrist or something... he then went to the Toronto doctors and they said there was no fracture.

There have been some fluke injuries, but we're having severe injury problems because the team is so damn old. Hope we can get through this stretch and not suffer.

No. According to Quinn's interview after the game last night it's the other one - "a minor sprain"
