Not like they've done that much at all lately. Outside of this year, it's been a good 4 years I believe since it's been in Frisco. It wasn't even suppose to be in Frisco this past season. Was suppose to be in boise but obviously cause of lockout etc.

You're absolutely correct! What am I thinking of that they do when they have most of the prospects and pro's together in Frisco leading up to preseason?

There's the prospect camp, but there typically aren't many pros there.

Just an FYI, the Oilers are the confirmed opponent for the OKC game. Date will be 9/27.

Fort Worth Mayor on Stars holding training camp out that way...

Quote:
“We’ve got a lot of excited Dallas Stars fans who are going to have a great time watching training camp in Fort Worth,” Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price said. “It’ll be a lot of fun to have the Stars staying at the Omni Hotel in downtown and practicing at the Fort Worth Convention Center, and you can be sure we’ll make an event out of it. We want to thank Mr. Lites who recognizes the countless fans in Fort Worth and went out of his way to bring the Dallas Stars to Cowtown.”

Both Detroit and Columbus have released their pre-season schedules. Columbus starts on the 15th of September while Detroit starts on the 16th. Columbus wraps up on the 26th of September while Detroit ends on the 28th.

So am guessing we'll start around the 15th/16th, and either have one more game after the OKC game or that'll be the last one.

Blues released their pre-season schedule yesterday with Dallas on it twice.

Looks like the Stars will open the pre-season at home on 9/15 against the Blues before traveling up there on the 21st.

Florida released theirs today as well. They'll come to Dallas on the Wednesday before our San Antonio game.

Pre-season game that will be on the radio this year will be the 9/26 game against Colorado.

Will be the first time we hear the new pre-game/intermission/post-game show hosts with Bruce LeVine (has been around) and Josh Bogorad (from Alaska Aces).

You had me at "oozing".

So are there any players you guys could see getting an invite at camp, like Cheechoo a few years back?

Do the training camps typically have videos to go along with them?
