I'm going to hate watching you play on the Blues, Mags...you are one of my favourite players on the team and I hope you kick major ass in St.Louis and show MacT what kind of mistake he made in trading you. Always going to root for you when I see you play, buddy
St.Louis, you guys are lucky to have this kid...I hope he gets the chance to thrive over there.

Would love to see him as an Oiler again in the future, though that's a longshot.

Good luck Maggie, and welcome to David Perron.

Hitch will get the most out of him. He'll be a great 3rd liner down the road.

Great Guy, Spent several minutes talking while I got his autograph on my Jersey. Great attitude....hopefully Stl uses him properly and he makes us regret this trade in 5 years.

I really didn't want to give up on this guy and I'll be furious if he meets his potential, because he's got a ton and I would've loved to see him reach it with the Oilers.

One of my favourite first rounders from Edmonton in a long time.

Guess all I've got left now is Sam.

GL Magnus.

My 3rd favorite Oiler, only behind Hall and Yakupov

Doug Armstrong is a smart GM, Paajarvi will score 40-50 points alongside his buddy Berglund in St. Louis, he'll match whatever Perron gets here.

Good luck Magnus.

The guy had a great attitude, and he'll be missed for sure. I still think he could be something special in the NHL. He'll have a long career.

Its much more likely that a player that doesn't bring the proper determination on the ice for prolonged stretches will be exposed, and outed by Hitch. Paajarvi will simply have very limited window in St loo. I doubt he'll get any of the patience he got here.

I was pretty down on Paajarvi for most of his Oiler career... But he did show some improvement towards the end of last season. Hope he keeps it up.

He seemed to have a great attitude.

It was a matter of time. I knew he was gonna be gone eventually so I'm not as upset as I would've been had I not anticipated it. Its better for him though.

Seems like forever ago the city was excited at the prospect of the 3 rookies in Hall, Eberle and MPS.

GL, Magnus. I'll miss you

Really tough to see him go. He showed flashes of greatness and so likeable. Wish him all the best and honestly he is a perfect fit for a defensive team like St. Louis.

Thanks for being a great player for the Oilers, Paajarvi.
You were and still will be one of my favourite players.
Good luck in St. Louis!

x2

Other recent trades I've been disappointed about or felt similarly about were the Rieder, Brodziak, and Matt Greene/Jarrett Stoll trades.

Makes us regret? Woah, I would think fans want their own team to win out on situations like this, not regret it

I agree completely. He was getting to play with Gags and Nail and things were clicking. Just a shame.

Pajaarvi's a good kid. I wish him the best and I'm gonna be cheering for him as long as he's in the league. Didn't really find his game here, hopefully Hitch can mold him into a more effective player.

I wish the best of luck to all future Oilers suspended in a Paajarval state of development. May you all fly away to enjoy long adult lives, or something.
