A little condescending....no?

For starters (the point I was trying to make in my previous comment) if the game is play on a Friday evening or a Sunday evening the same weather phenomenas will be in play here so the day is irrelevant from a weather perspective. This matters because Friday night 7:00 pm games are a traditional day/start time for the Ticats.
That had to be changed due to the stadium being 50+ km's out of town. That in and of itself makes getting to the stadium a challenge. Maybe (due to the extensive travel involved) the team consulted with the fans about preferred start times prior to the season. Maybe they preferred late afternoon games. The team has scheduled highway coaches at 5 different pickup locations for each game. They will arrive at the stadium an hour before start time. Maybe that played a role in the game start time. Aside form the TV schedule influencing game times there are a number of variables to consider here.
You considered none of them.

The fact is that your weather rant was decidedly myopic and anyone that saw things differently apparently 'just didnt understand weather'.
All because you were bothered by the rain.

Maybe it was you that failed to understand and take into consideration a few possible reasons for the start time?

You want the last word, have it.

You're interested apparently in prolonging this exchange for no reason by ridiculing what was a perfectly reasonable observation. No need to continue arguing.

Didn't you two used to agree on everything?

I fail to see how my responses are unreasonable in any way.

You were extremely bothered by the rain and thought the game time was bad planning and went on a diatribe about the realities of weather. I simply pointed out some possibilities for why the game time was scheduled the way it was and why the time was not significant in terms of the weather.

I also dont agree with your contention that not agreeing with you means a lack understanding of how weather works. That came across as a little arrogant and condescending IMO so I called you on it.

Contrary to what you might think this isn't personal for me and I am happy to leave it at that and continue with the PM's if you want.

That's what I meant with the season is still young. We can only hope for a repeat.

Corey Sheets is at 442 yards rushing through three games. He's NFL bound. Hopefully he enjoys returning kicks.

Holy crap. Obviously it won't hold up, but he's on pace to break the record by roughly 600 yards.

Dave Campbell just tweeted that Fred Stamps told him that he isn't sure if he'll play tomorrow. Looks like our best receiver is dealing with a chronic issue. Sigh.

Stamps is our best, but this receiving corps is talented and deep. If the QB can get them the ball, they'll make the plays. What Stamps does, besides making the great catches, is he frees up other guys because defences must concentrate on Stamps. The other receivers are darn good.

Someone opines that our receivers suck in 3...2...1....

Yeah Koch is pretty good. I remember being excited by chambers, hasn't done much yet though, has a lot of potential I think.

I think the potential is there with Coehorn too, haven't seen much yet either. I'm hoping they get him more involved.

He's also 28 years old and will be 29 by the time the next NFL season starts - I highly doubt he gets another shot in the NFL.

Marcus Howard is out tomorrow.

When the hell is Bowman coming back? We need a legit deep threat in the offense.

That's not old for a player coming from Canada, Browner Wake and Logan were all around that we when they left.

Holy crap, no Howard and probably no Stamps. Lets take advantage before that betting line moves, I suppose.

The receiving corps is not good without Stamps and Bowman. I don't know any team that can still look half decent with their top two guys injured. Koch and Coehoorn are good secondary guys, but if we're asking them to carry the mail I'm concerned.

Whats crazy is Koch had 700 receiving yards and no touchdowns in college, he hardly played. That's Willie Parker type bench warming.
