Most Valuable Oiler #6

Who do you think is the sixth most valuable Oiler going forward?

Consider age, contract, injury history, positional value, leadership, potential, etc... One way of thinking of it would be: in a trade to a neutral team, who would bring the greatest return?

1. Taylor Hall (75%)
2. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (70%)
3. Nail Yakupov (65%)
4. Jordan Eberle (65%)
5. Justin Schultz (75%)

Poor Gagner... poor Dubby... why am I still voting for Gagner? Dubby and him should have been up there by now.

Smid, seems like a beaut in the locker room and a pretty formidable defensive d, something pretty valuable to the Oil, no?

Sort of OT, I heard an interview with Smid where he was talking about Lubomir Visnovsky and it was pretty funny so that's a +1. "Yeah Lubs good on the PP."

I think guys like Smid and Dubnyk are more valuable to our team then anyone else's. I think Klefbom, Gagner and Nurse probably hold the highest trade value.

This one was tough. I went Klefbom, but could easily have voted Gags or Smid.

Tough decision between Gagner, Smid and Dubnyk at this point.

Went with Gagner. Lack of center depth.

Went Gagner. Smid and Dubnyk are close.

Klefbom sounds great but I haven't seen him play really so went and will go with the guys I know.

Thinking Smid, Gagner and Dubnyk. I would need to see Klefbom in the NHL before I can start ranking him ahead of these guys. I gave it to Smid because he is signed to a fantastic contract. If Gagner were on a reasonable contract and better at faceoffs I would put him at #6.

no love for Perron yet...
Voted Smid .. Captaincy material IMO and a true warrior.. was on pace for over 250+hits and 200+ blocked shots over 82games.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I hope that everyone's faith (or at least a lot of you) in Klefbom is justified. IF he can be the kind of player you guys seem to think, it could be huge. Personally have never watched him much or followed too closely, but you guys are getting me excited about the prospect of him.

Honestly, outside of the fact that it would suck to lose some of the superstars for sheer talent, Smid is the one player I would hate to see leave the most. Plays every shift hard, doesn't slow down, and defends the net like Duby's his gf. Feisty and I love it.

If it's unclear, I voted Smid.

Since nobody has given Perron any love, I might as well be the first.

In his prime, legit top 6 player. and signed to a better deal than Gags will be (contract was one of the parameters).

Like I said in the last poll, I don't think any player still on the list garners a higher return than what EDM paid for Perron.

I think guys who have never played an nhl game like klefbom should be left off the list, we don't even know for sure if he will be on the roster in the fall lol

I voted gagner

I've been on the Perron wagon since his draft year. His hands are filthy.

Most NHLers have bad hygiene. Why do you think the flu always spreads so quickly through a team?
