I'm working from home today. That means I am not getting out of my bed until my laptop dies.

I have HD on all three screens in the house finally. Only 1 has a DVR receiver though. Supposedly Comcast is coming back out on Tuesday to swap them all for multi-room DVR, and to install a signal booster, we shall see. End result was actually 3 months of HBO as opposed to the year, price locked for a year rather than 6 months, installation fee waived, no cost for amplifier, and 20 bucks off for being late yesterday.

Unfortunately I still had 5 ethernet cables in the basement just hanging out, uncapped, routed to the 3 bedrooms/kitchen/living room. I needed to find the 1 cable that was in the living room so I could get the Netflix/Pandora crap up and running on the TV. So I capped the cable on the TV first and connected. Had a 20% shot of picking the correct one in the basement, failed. So now I have 4 to choose, 25% shot, failed again. Now 3 remain, 33% shot, failed. Two left, 50/50 chance...JACKPOT.

So out of 6 possible cat5e connectors I did 5 of them, and it sucked. Should have just bought the wifi adapter for the TV and saved myself 2 hours.

Always pick the cable that you would have picked last 1st.

Really just took bare wire, cut and crimped them onto a plastic connector. Straight forward but each of the 8 little tiny wires inside need to be in a specific order.

I was trying not to overthink it cuz I didn't want to regret it and be thinking "damn I KNEW I should have just picked the second one". So I just chose blindly.

I have positions open in Business Intelligence (Database Developers & Business Analysts), Finance (Senior Accountant), Operations (Training Manager & IT Business Manager) and then a bunch of clinical roles. There are other types of roles available too but I'm not managing those ones.

Any idea what you want to get into? I can look to see what other kind of roles we have.

While at Toastmasters yesterday I mentioned I was looking for work and the other thing and one of the members works for Blackberry and asked what I like doing.

Next week I am doing my first speech. Probably will be about the Bruins and what they mean to my family.

Arrivals and departures were suspended after the incident at 16:30 BST, a spokesman for the airport said. No passengers were aboard at the time.

Fifty Dreamliners worldwide were grounded in January because of battery malfunctions.

Boeing later modified the jets with new batteries.

In April an Ethiopian Airlines Dreamliner - said to be the plane involved in the Heathrow incident - flew from Addis Ababa to Nairobi on the first commercial flight since the grounding.

Pictures of the Heathrow fire on Twitter show an aircraft close to a terminal building surrounded by fire vehicles. London Fire Brigade said its crews were standing by to assist Heathrow staff.
