The top two lines sure have a lot of options. Are there two players who won't go well together?

55 - 75 points if they let him play with Hall, who better benefits from Nuge's complimentary game and corner/half-wall work.

40 - 50 points if he gets shackled to Eberle again. Not to say Ebs is a bad player at all(he's a great player), just thought the chemistry between the two of them is grossly overrated and they spend too much time playing in the same areas of the ice when paired together.

70GP 17G-44A-61 PTS.

it'll take awhile for him to get used to playing with a new shoulder but will be excellent down the stretch

Perron - Hall.

RNH and Gagner. That would just be weird as well.

66 gp - 14 goals / 36 assists for 50 points.

I don't see the upside in RNH that others do. Once shiny toy syndrome wears off I think most will see we're left with a solid #1 center. Nothing more, nothing less. He needs to bulk up, that 12 year old build isn't going to hold up.

I was thinking of "no same position though."

Doesn't Perron play on his off wing though? RW is possible for him. Just won't happen.

He can get that easily. If hall has a 90+ season it's pretty much gauranteed that nuge will be around PPG with being the quarterback on the PP.

Edit: just wanted to point out how much better he is than every other prospect in the world. At the WJC, even with his injury i believe he factored into 90% of canada's offence outside of the 1st game. If he wasn't on the ice, Canada wasn't scoring.
This is dumb post I'm sorry. Saying we need 100 goals from our 1st line to make the playoffs is beyond a

Anything less than 0.8 PPG would be disappointing.

Something similar to Ebs 2 seasons ago. 70 in 82 games hopefully. If he's healthy, he's got a shot on both sides (no matter who his wingers are), so I'm sure he'll get it.

The only thing that sucks is that he doesn't really get an offseason.

I think part of the reason is he didn't feel as comfortable shooting the puck with the constant pain in his shoulder, hopefully with a new shoulder we see a return of year 1 RNH.

On a side note, I think Eberle is going to lead the forwards in scoring this year.

We need about 225 as a team and our bottom 6 and D aren't going to get a whole lot so we need about 160 out of our top 6.

If he plays 80 games, I think the 70 point range is a safe bet. His wingers will certainly help him get there. (this is assuming the shoulder surgery helped)

Regarding the PP, I'm wondering if RNH would be more effective playing the lower half boards/behind the net and save Hall or Yakupov's lethal shot for the high half wall.

If I were to guess, assuming around 75 games for everyone:

Hall 38-46-84
RNH 23-54-77
Eberle 30-42-72
Yak 37-34-71
Gagner 21-33-54
Perron 24-28-52

I'm predicting an 80 point season from Nuge, maybe higher. Look what shoulder surgery did to Hall. I think he's going to have a huge season.

RNH is going to be more than a 40-55 point scorer. I expect anything from 60-80.

Also from what i read somewhere his shoulder wasn't as bad as Halls .
I predicting an 75 to 85 point season from him . This also depends when he starts the season and how long it takes him to trust his repaired shoulder . If he burns 10 to 15 games getting back into games shape (shoulder wise ) I still see a 60 point plus season

Going to wait until training camp when I know more about his shoulder.

Kid could be a 40 point player or a 80 point player.

I think this is the year Nuge separates himself from the rest of his draft class like Hall did this past year
