If Mitchell is healthy, I'd put him above Scuderi.

Willie Mitchell, when healthy, is quite a bit better than Scuds.

hey Razzie King i remember reading once that you would remove that fly once and only when the kings won the cup...

is that true? and if it is... what gives?

He doesn't want to have to read the inevitable "hey Razzie, your flies down" jokes.

Huh? The whole point I was making is that Tanev is not as good as a guy like Muzzin. This signing will be used as a comparable if the Canucks have take Tanev to arbitration. Good news for the Canucks.

Why do all non-Canuck fans think Tanev sucks? I would love to hear all the scouting reports from the hockey experts on this site that watch 3 Canuck games all season.

What about four playoff games?

I'm sure you can learn everything you need to know about a player and his potential by watching 4 playoff games...

I love how me saying that a 23year old defensive defenseman who has established himself as a bottom pairing NHLer but who I think should get less than the 1M per that Muzzin got = overrating

Sorry for thinking Muzzin>Tanev, I should have put Muzzin>>>>>>>>LOL>>>>>>>Tanev.

well in a normal off season i wouldn't have cared but this year as dean said every 100 k counts. I would have much perfered him at 800 -850k but 1 million isnt to bad i guess. I just want to make sure we get lewis and clifford signed for sure.A mart and nolan not so much as i see them as draft pick bait hopefully a 2nd and 4th

I was underwhelmed with what he did, but at $1 million I'm not at all bothered by this signing. He's got a lot of potential to improve, and hopefully over the next two years we see it happen.

Thanks Muzzin, Brendan Smith's agent probably got sick to his stomach when he saw this signing.

Good deal for LA here.

I wouldn't have been happy if it were $1m/1 yr, but it makes it a strong deal with the additional year tacked on at the same rate. It'll work out.

Im not saying i hate it but it all comes down to signing clifford and lewis. If it come to losing one of them over 200 k that we gave muzzin ill be very disapointed.

LA won't lose either player, unless there's a deal in the works.

I suspect there going to be at least one deal. We do have like 9 defenseman and probely at least one extra forward. I'm hopeing we get at least a 2nd out of alec and 3rd 5th out of nolan or king ( i see room for one not the other now) Dean loves extra picks

I honestly find it curious that so many non Kings fans think this is a good deal. To me, he's overpaid. It might not be by much....but he is. ESPECIALLY when Dean just got done preaching about how every dollar counts with our RFAs.

I'd like him to consolidate players for picks and maybe one more player in return.

I think you guys def are, not just doughty voynov but mitchell and greene as well.

I leave it up mostly for a statement...and it's mostly "there's bugs in the system that need to be fixed"...
