So, I do believe I discovered a glitch in NHL 12, I don't know if it is in NHL 13 or if it will be in NHL 14, and I have not heard of any glitch like it (it may be common knowledge, so if this is useless, feel free to delete this)
Basically, it is a glitch to get undrafted players on their respected teams.
I haven't worked out all the bugs, so if you discover some, let me know.
I don't quite know all the details about it.
Here is what I did.
I took Cody Ceci (did this for Sean Monohan, Nail Yakupov, Alex Galchenyuk, Charles Hudon, too)
put him on a created team,
traded him to Binghamton (Ottawa's AHL team)
Edited his stats
Traded him back to the created team
and I noticed that in a new BE a Gm mode, he was traded from Ottawa to St-Louis so i checked the scouting central to make sure he wasn't duplicated and he wasn't.
I made a new BE A Gm, and sure enough they are all on their team's rosters and not in the scouting ranking.
Which means, that these players are not duplicated.
I don't know why this works, at least so far, but I think it is a method to trick the game.
edit: I forgot to mention that underagers do not appear in the Team Roster movement page, but if you go to "trade players" you will see them in their affiliation
