yeah, Boogey wasn't interested, but he didn't have a choice at the end...be careful what you wish for I guess.

Um, a player can't just change weight classes because he was dropped by some behemoth of a man.

I guess you don't know the fridge too well then, eh?

Boogard is a monster who packs a legit KO punch with all that size. He is a legit threat to Laraque for the Heavyweight champ of this league. I hope that Fedoruk comes back from this OK he is a very tough kid as well.

Fedoruk is far from a middleweight, he is a legit heavy who got caught a punch from a guy who probably packs the hardest punch in the league along with Laraque.

That would be like saying that Rob Ray became a middleweight because Twist broke his face in their fight. Fedoruk just got caught and that is a hazzard of this job. Boogaard will hurt a lot of people in his career. He deserves some credit here for being a hell of a fighter. Its too bad that fighting has taken a decline or there would be more guys for this kid to test himself against.

You really haven't seen him play much, have you? The last thing in the world you could call Boogard is a headhunter. You're right about him taking out the other team's best fighter, but he's definitely not the kind of guy who's going to go after the other team's star. That's just not him, and even if it were, Jacques would never tolerate it.

I agree man the Fridge has shown a great chin in his career as well as very good fighting ability.

Boogeyman is the man! Fridge can and has taken a punch. Fridge probably reinjured an orbital bone like he did a few years ago.

Dumb would be if he did it again after that annihilation.

Watching that Ray highlight film was sweet. I'd forgotten what unbelievable fight endurance that cat had.

If the side of his face was caved...the orbital probably was as well. Fridge is absolutely NOT a legit heavyweight, especially carrying that kind of an injury. Legit heavyweights don't get carried off quite this often. If it's his orbital again...no more fridge.:

It is his orbital (among other things), but apparently it's not the same one. He reportedly sustained multiple fractures to his right cheekbone and right orbital bone, but the plate he carries around in his face from the last time he broke his orbital is apparently on the left side.

Either way, I've got to wonder where he goes from here. At some point, you figure a guy's just going to decide he's had enough of this crap. I wouldn't blame him at all if he hangs up the gloves after this one.
