Can Saku Koivu ....

Can Saku Koivu shoot higher than 3 inches ?

Seriously I don't think so.

He must be the first line center with the worst wrist shot in the league.

Don't get me wrong I don't hate the guy but it's a thing I always hated about him.

Also in the SO he always tries the same move and end up missing his backhand shot.

Has Koivu ever been a goal scorer?NO

Now that you have your answer, we can close down another useless thread.

Can we just delete your useless reply instead ?

Maybe he's not a goal scorer because he has a weak shot...and that's my point.

The guy has the speed and the vision.
I just wish he had the hands.

It's certainly puzzling to see a first line player unable to roof the puck once in a while.

But again, we ALL know this already, so honestly what is the point. You could have easily put this in the game thread, but no we have to add another thread to the list like "carbs the racist" and crap like that.

You're so transparent its not funny, we see the agenda.

Are you born dumb or you just had a cerebral accident ?

This didn't belong to a particular GDT.

It's a freaking internet board about the Habs. Can't we discuss the players and their particular skills ?

Oh maybe we should just create GD threads so the board would be ultra clean. Would it make you happy ?

znk brought an interesting point to the discussion while your post was just useless crap.

I hate those who are pretentious enough to think they can dictate which subject deserves or not a new thread.

If Montreal wins, these threads don't appear. thats my problem. We already have three of them a couple of hours after a loss. The last thing for someone who has nothing to respond with is to throw insults, bravo.

I apologize for the insult, I admit that it was inappropriate.

The fact that we lost probably motivated me to start the thread but on the other hand if I start it after a win I would be accused to search for negative points.

This is a no-win situation and yet I still wanted to discuss about it.

But hey if I end up talking alone I'll just stop....eventually

He may not be a great goal scorer but he complements Ryder and Higgins beautifully. No other Hab center can do as much.

i appreciate that. and yes its been a long week for me and i am at my end, and getting a little testy. personally, i just get tired of the all these threads that pop up after every loss if you know what i mean. Cheers, and i'll stop posting on this subject (for now, lol) for the moderators sake.

i would say that he 's simply having the worst wrist shot in the league , of- ALL- the players . Not only the first line centers .

But as someone said , he 's a very good complement of Higgins and Ryder .

I admit it can be very frustrating to see him unable to convert goals because he does not have a good shot. You're probably also right on the fact that he must have one of the weakest wrist shots among 1st line centers in the league.

However, I forgive him.. He's still the best centre we can have at the moment. Yup, his shot is weak, that's why at the end of the day, he's just a good player. If he had a great wristler, we'd have a superstar in our hands.

BTW guys, calm down.. I don't think he truely meant to insult Koivu. And seriously, even if he did, I don't see what's wrong..

(I think you learned your lesson, on this board, you have to say "koivu is god", otherwise, you get flammed. lol )
