Anyone catch the Hot Stove on HNIC?

Did anyone see it tonight? Do they know what was discussed? I only caught the last 30 secs or so, and I saw that Murray Wilson was on, so he must have had some Habs rumours. Can I get a recap please?

I believe you can watch it online at cbc.ca. Let me see if I can find it for you.

Check it out:http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/hnic...hotstove.html/

The refs will be using new whistles from the NBA next season. Blowing on them automatically stops the clock and saves seconds in the game.

And Yanic Perrault is close to signing with Phoenix.

Nothing about the Habs I can recall other than how horrible they were playing.

How bout ol' Bob tonight. He thought the OT was three on three while there were cleary four skaters each out there lol. I guess his head was still spinning due to the amazing Sundin shift in the second period.

There were 3 on 3 and then after a small delay each team put out another skater. Bob's senile, but I'll give him that one. BTW did he ever get excited about Abby's saves in the shootout, almost like he was rooting for the Habs. Weird. Maybe not having Harry next to him is a good thing.

after the OT period ended, Bob made a comment about it being 3 on 3 for the last minute.

and the announcing wasnt that bad tonight by him. except for when he creamed his pants on the "crazy" Leafs forcheck

I'm pretty sure Bob was a Habs fan growing up, as shocking as that may seem. And yeah he did love those Abby saves, maybe because that implies that the Leafs shooters were taking nice shots.

Hotstove talked about Perrault to Phoenix possibly and also Boston maybe looking for a goalie if Thomas and Toivunen? keep stinking it up. I know the Boston board had rumors about Thibault

Bob was still talking about the crazy 3 on 3 action well into the shootout

As much as I hate the Leafs, that forecheck of theirs WAS pretty intense for a while.

He was getting all excited because it looked like the Leafs had scored and then Aebischer robbed them, that's why.

No he wasn't, Cole has admitted he is a Habs fan, just listen to him call the Souray goal.

Bob Cole is losing his mind. ALthough TO was playing welll in the 2nd Bob got really excited with that one shift where TO cycled for like 60 seconds. They didnt even get a shot on goal. ANd he started say Mercy mercy mercy like it was a boxing match or something. He needs to check himself and make sure he hides his Leafs passion a little better.

To BOB; WE dont care that you like the Leafs. And we dont care that you were alove the last time they won the cup.
