Yes.

If you're thinking he might do Kovalchuk it's not gonna happen. For finnish players NHL is always the number one option. Those who aren't good enough for NHL and are/were stars in SM-Liiga go to KHL. To make money

Nope. No chance. But if Fleury plays his final two seasons out anything is possible.

Yes. He's not exactly ancient, so I don't see early (actual, not Kovy-style) retirement as a likely possibility. Of course there's a chance he gets seriously injured and isn't able to finish his contract, but that risk exists with every single player. He's not gonna run off to the KHL either.

I say he will play out his contract, he might still be in his goaltending prime when the contract ends. It seems that a lot of goaltenders are in their prime in their early and mid 30's.

I chose no because I misread the question.

I think he will finish his contract, however, I don't think it will be in Boston.

Rinne, Lundqvist and Rask are the 3 best goalies in the NHL and will remain at the top for a few years. They are safe bets for domination. You don't move a goalie like that.

Depends on Subban, or any other goalie prospect the Bruins have/draft/acquire.

If you have Subban playing on a similar level to Rask 4 years into his contract at around 2.5 mill per, you deal Rask for assets.

If Rask is playing head and shoulders above anyone else in the Bruins organization, you better believe he stays.

Don't get why he wouldn't....

Goalies can still be very much in their primes at 34... Some don't even reach it until then or 2-3 years before.
