Perreault Signs

700 k, 1 year deal with Phoenix.

Why we wouldn't have been interested I will never, ever understand.

He's no good for the Eastern conference...Too defensive, doesn't let him move around.

Maybe you should find a new sport to follow if you never, ever understood why Perreault would have made Hamilton's 2nd line.

The knock on Perreault always has been his skating abilites and poor defensive play. In today's NHL that is a bad combo. Yes, he's a good shooter and a great face-off guy, but too many negatives about his game. Plus he's a streaky guy. He'll score two goals one game and then you won't hear from him for 10 games.

Why would we sign him? It makes no sense at all.

Are you joking? He had 57 points in 69 games last year and led the league in faceoff percentage...I don't care how much you don't like a guy, you have to respect talent.

Yep. and he would have make kovalev and samsonov work BUT i didnt want bob to sign him or media would have gone nuts yet again, and call this a step behind

but Kovalev - Perreault - Samsonov would have probably work..

Because with him we could move from 2nd best in the league at faceoffs, to first...

Jason Allison had 60 pts in 66 games on the crappy Leafs, while Perreault was on a strong Predators team.

Would you take him ?

Hey ! NewHabsArea ,

Since you are supposed to have left your left ball after his signing last season ( bad bid you lost ) , does the fact that he signs with a new team this season , means that it's the turn of your right one ?
