The media at its finest right there. Joke.

Nothing like being bored at work. Have done two minutes of actual work in the past two or so hours.

Nothing like waiting on lenders to get their figures over to you. Dollars to donuts, all three closings I have open for tomorrow will get their stuff to me near-simultaneously after 4:00.

I was wondering what the hell that smell was when I was coming back from lunch.

Won another $568 at poker last night. Having a killer July. Up $1467 in 23.2 hours of play for an average of $63/hr.

They seemingly have a million different packages. What did you buy, just general admission? When day did you go? Was it super busy?

IIRC, we did GA. Obviously, we didn't get access to everything, but the kid is 6 or 7 and had no idea. She had a good time. Depending on how old the kids you're taking are, GA is fine and cheaper. There was different sections from places all over the world. You just walked on the main floor and looked into the glass from maybe six big areas of stuff like Africa, maybe Asian rivers, etc.

I wasn't the one into it. This was purely just to let the kid have some fun.

My kids are 5 and 1, so GA will be plenty for them I think. Was it really busy?

My daughter LOVED Shedd. I splurged and got the show tickets, but only because my soon to be three year old kept talking about dolphins when I told her we were headed to the aquarium.

I think we went during the week. It was somewhat sizeable. It wasn't enough to have an impact on the kid's experience. The crowd will be bigger on the weekend. I'd say general admission during the week is your best option of you can swing it with work and vacation days.

I have Tuesday-Wednesday off. Went on a Wednesday. The crowd was negligible.

I swam with dolphins in Mexico a few months back and felt like a three year old the whole time. I was like a little kid. I thought it was the coolest thing and something I always wanted to do.

It's home games around town, rotating group of Like 30 that play so it can be any of those people. Also, poker is a game that everyone thinks they can win. If I were them, I would avoid big pots with me though, same way I avoid playing big pots with the more 'solid' players.

I haven't been to Shedd in a few years, but it's easily my favorite attraction on the Museum Campus. Can't recommend it enough.

Also, should I buy tickets for Shedd online or just walk up and buy them?
