Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport 5m

Aaron Hernandez has been taken out of his house in handcuffs. ESPN is among those reporting.
And the plot thickens...

Except for all the times he did. He had the single best game in any game ever in the playoffs going for 181 vs GB. He also had at least 1 rush of 50+ yards in 3 of his 10 starts. The guy is on par with Vick in his prime in terms of rushing ability and he's already a better passing qb than Vick ever was.

Jags don't list Denard Robinson's position as QB, WR or RB - positions he played in college. List it as OW. Offensive weapon.

Oh, so that's what they now call players who can't play any position...

Not yet. Vick's 2010 season was beastly both rushing and especially passing. Kaepernick certainly has the potential to eclipse that, but he hasn't yet in his very brief career matched that season from Vick.

On ESPN, @mortreport reported Giants WR Victor Cruz is expected to sign a long-term deal before training camp begins.

I'm just glad were not comparing him to Russell Wilson again. That would be sacrilege.

I don't know if this is on Harbaugh, but it's such a bizarre story. The actual story(Mercury something something paper) said after Divens took Brooks home, he pretended to throw his keys in the bushes before giving it back. So Brooks got pissed and beat the crap out of him? Including smashing a bottle over his head?

Like what in the ****?

I'm not sure if Brooks will be charged(I know Divens dropped it, but isn't the state in charge of the case now?), but if I was the 49ers, I'd suspend him imo. Give him 2-3 games and a decently sized fine.

I understand you don't like the 49ers or Harbaugh since handshakegate, but what can Harbaugh be held accountable for here? With your logic, Belichick is responsible for Aaron Hernandez....

I know it's about a month since the hat thing, but I'm still shocked we were comparing Kapernick to Russell Wilson, my quartaback till the day I die.

Russell Wilson, the guy who ends every interview with Go 'Hawks, who single handedly changed the culture of a team and who's class and grace comes through without him ever saying a word is simply unparalleled in the character and leadership department, that he was compared to a Youngblood like Kapernick is just blasphemous. Wilson does everything the right way, and he always will, that's ma quartaback.

Most athletes were hats of other pro teams to match their outfits. It's not a big deal at all and at the end of the day, he's a 49er.

^ I was gonna say the same thing. It's not a big deal. The 49ers play the Dolphins once every 4 years anyway.

I could maybe see some kind of argument if it was an NFC West team but it's really not a big deal at all. But this time of year people are just looking for story especially TMZSPN.

I don't think it's just that as Navarro bowman was asked about it and said it was "a huge mistake" and everybody knows the Jim Harbaugh story by now. Bowman also made fun of Cam Newton for his ATL comments, I think it just proves one thing, the difference between the two qbs is that Russell Wilson, my quartaback until the day I die, took control of the locker room immediately, we're talking day one, Kapernick is not that leader yet.

I think the guys in the league take that logo stuff seriously, especially with the quarterback.

It's not a big deal, but I'll tell you one thing, the Russell Wilson comparisons were madness, how in the world are you bringing him on to the level of Russell Wilsons class and grace. Nobody has this mans aura. Maybe Brees Manning and Brady. Maybe.

Okay that last part I was joking. The rest of it? You better believe its the undisputed truth.

Please stop with the Russell Wilson nonsense. Not only is it a load of crap but it's also getting a little creepy now.
