Spoken like a man that has never set foot in Philadelphia.

It's so great that Claude Giroux is spending his summer there, and NONE of the players actually live there...

If you have trust issues because of Alfie, you should probably re-evaluate your life.
Not sure that's one of those instances where people should 're-evaluate' their lives if they have trust issues (assumedly with hockey players staying in Ottawa).

I'll admit, I'm nervous about Ryan re-signing and a lot of it has to do with Alfie quitting on us. So yeah, I'm not gonna re-evaluate anything, I'm gonna remain cautiously optimistic that Ryan wants to be here long term.

Didn't see the interview but this sounds like kurt stoodleys mo, the worst is when he's on the radio and uses an extremely uncomfortable whisper non stop

Because she wasn't sure where Ottawa was and the weather isn't like Cali's? Well jeez, he must only want to play for 3-4 teams.

In one comment people say he wants to play in Philly, the next comment talks about how his GF likes the sunny weather, well I guess we can throw all those Philly rumors out the window then, she isn't going to like the winters any better in Philly.

Just let it go, man.

Ryan has told us a few things about her

"she asked if we were moving north of Detroit"
"Like sunny weather"
"Likes Tim Hortons"
"Is from SoCal"

Things like that

People are just massively extrapolating from these statements

Ottawa is a nice place to be, as long as she isn't a control-freak and into crazy party/glamour life style she'll like it; Montreal isn't too far either for the getaway.

Isn't his summer home Wyoming or the Dakotas? Isn't that why he couldn't get to Ottawa sooner because he lives out in the middle of nowwhere, some small place in Wyoming?

You know when someone says it was as hot as hell? Today I played a round of golf which felt like I was playing in hell, so let me tell you that hell is, as hot as hell. Yet I played the best round of my life today while losing the most balls I have ever lost. What a wierd ****ing hot day today. Cheers.

Wyoming, yep. And he's also on record as loving the time he played in Owen Sound.

Bad enough people spend most of their time worrying about the past or the future, even worse when you're worrying about the Sens/Bobby Ryan's future.

Take a deep breath, it's all gonna be okay.

Came off as likeable and genuinely excited, at this point you can't ask for more. If the team takes steps forwards, good chance he stays.

If his SoCal GF can't handle it, she can go home....there's great girls in any NHL city and he pretty well has his pick.
