Thanks PB for the updates.

Not sure if he's teasing us with the DP possibility I surely hope so. And not sure what he means by signing 2 new players, if he doesn't want to do trades then signing 2 players must mean 2 international players, so we surely need to shed two more intl players.

Concerning Rivas, if he's not going to play, then just give him whatever is remained from his 50k salary and release him from the roster for this year to free an intl spot then we can see before the start of next year if he's fit to play again.

Mallace and Ubiparipovic were loaned to Minnesota United of the NASL.

Europe would have been nice for Mallace but heh, at least he'll play a lot down there.

Re-posting from the previous page. Presser is done now.. These are the most important points (imo):

-No major changes coming.
-They want to sign 2 additional players to help for the playoffs and next season.
-They'll be consulting season ticket holders for certain administrative decisions
-They'll be installing a heating system under the field.
-Already 12 players under contract for next season.
-Ticket prices will remain the same next year
-Saputo and Schallibaum talking contract extension. Should get done soon.
-Getting another DP is definitely a possibility.
-Trades are unlikely.
-They're looking at every position for help.
-The Nelson Rivas situation is complicated and much more serious than they expected. There's a possibility that he won't play this year. They say that they've done everything they can for him. They'll speak to him next week and make a decision on his situation.
-The MLS apologized to Joey for publishing the Juan Carlos Osorio article

"Become a member of the club! We want to build the club with you"

12 players under contract for next season:

Troy Perkins, Evan Bush, Jeb Brovsky, Hassoun Camara, Matteo Ferrari, Patrice Bernier, Felipe, Justin Mapp, Sanna Nyassi, Blake Smith, Collen Warner, and Andrew Wenger.

Joey said that MDV is expected back tomorrow, but it's up to Schalli if he plays or not obviously.

Interesting what they had to say about Rivas. Looks like its either he starts training with the team again this week, or hes gona have to be released so that the team can get a 3rd CB and keep the rotation going to keep Matteo & Sandros legs healthy

That's a pretty good core of players. Add in a few pieces and we should have another solid team. Main position to fill would be forwards if MDV and Paponi don't come back.

Only three international spots taken for next year and, like you said, a pretty good core of players (if we include the 5 homegrown players). I expect us to try and buy Paponi and if his body holds up, Di Vaio will be back. That leaves us with 3 international spots for upgrades and I think we have another that we acquired via trade + we could move picks and guys like Mallace/Ubi/Valentin for more.

Speaking of Valentin I am disappointed that we received no news on him. His season his over in Europe and he is chilling back home, will he be brought back this year?

Oh and I'm happy that we are likely to get a resolution on Rivas by next week.

And finally, my season tcikets will cost me 40$ less

You wouldn't even try to keep Paponi?

I've never been in 119, but I've been in 127-128 which is the same view but opposite end of the pitch and I love it. Loved the view enough last season to buy season tickets in 128 this year!

Not only Paponi but Rodriguez as well since NDS has clearly said they brought him for the future. I'm actually surprised they loaned out Ubi and mallace but not Rodriguez.

I might be wrong, but I think Rodriguez is still on crutches.

Edit: Olivier Tremblay ‏@olitremblay 4h
Maximiliano Rodriguez aussi, en béquilles.

I don’t think you can loan a loanee and I even forgot that he was on the team the people I was referring to were Pisanu and Romero

That's where the atmosphere is at!! Plus I prefer watching sports while standing, I even get my habs tickets in the last row of the Molson Ex Zone so I can watch the game standing.

How would you guys rate the view and experience from behind the goals? All my experience at SS were in the north or south stands but never behind the goals. I will probably buy again season tickets next year but the problem is that my friend left the country an no body else is interested buying season tickets with me so I'll probably buy 2 and invite people to go with me, so since it's cheaper behind the goals and if the experience is worth it then why not.

Just watched the end of Chivas-TFC...can't believe we only tied against these two teams; they're more than terrible!

I inflicted that game on myself as well.

We witnessed something quite special, you just can't find that level of suck these days.

De Vos was unusually harsh in his comments after the game, totally deserved of course.

While end seats are not my favorite, they are really not bad at all. Especially if you go higher up. Low seats are the worst in my opinion.

We were on the end, in the second deck in NY, and I though the view was perfectly acceptable.

You can see it at 1:40 of the Ultras video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=jPa_j7GhoTM

Though the wide view of the camera makes it look much worse that it is.

GO for it and report back, I think you'll have a great experience.

What about Valentin? He's not good enough. Had he shown promise, than he would have been still with the club. He's playing in a 2nd tier division overseas...

While Paponi had a terrific start, he's starting to show lack the effect of lack of playing time in the past 2 years. He's certainly a keeper but he's got to work on his consistency level.
