On playing against the Habs: We're frustrating/tough to play against because we're quick, making plays, force you to come back and play deep in your own zone, always have to be aware, head on a swivel.

On small: tough to play against small shifty players. Being tough is not about being big and hitting only, it's being able to skate with the puck and getting around guys.

On Parros: likes the pickup, think twice about taking liberties, bring respect.

Did they ask him why he dared sign with us after being such a weasel?

side not: Im actually a fan of the signing, but it's a question that begs to be asked.

On Gallagher: loves how he plays, hard nose, doesn't back down, hard to the net and has to keep playing that way. He's a little pest out there, not a dirty player, tough to play since he's always in your face.

On the calendar: looking forward most to his 1st game in Montreal more than any other. Really looking forward to playing at the Bell Centre, no place like it. He doesn't know if we realize how lucky we are to watch games at the Bell.

On his playoff success: wishes he had an easy answer. All he can say is that he grew up watching the Habs and playoff hockey and remembers that's what would drive him to play. Use that energy. All he can give us, no special recipe.

On teammates: received texts. Just met George Parros in California. Spoke to DD. Every day he's getting a chance to talk to someone.

I have a feeling he's going to have a great season (50-70 points).
He has something to prove. He's also a leader for our younger players.

Oh, I don't know.

Just bitterness I suppose.

I'm still kinda bitter about it, but then again I'm still pissed at Therrien for sending Lindsay out for that face-off back in 2002.

My pleasure.

Missed a bit at the start, he was talking about how impressive and straight Bergevin and Therrien were in meeting him. There was no lying or beating around the bush, they made their point and he said it would have been tough to top their presentation.

He didnt feel that way in 2006. What made him change his mind? Could it be that his career is dwindling and he got a major payday out of it?

We should all be so lucky.

There were just so many incidents, like the Eller faceoff, the revenge penalty shot after he dove, the way he priorly used us as leverage.. and this is off the top of my head.

Briere loved to stick it to us at every chance he got. He was a Habs killer and it motivated him to paly vs us.

He also hucked Price's first shutout puck into the crowd after a game. (Price doesn't give a crap though)

He really was a dirtbag when playing against us, but he's ours now.

I'm still fairly ambivalent about it.
