Okay. One thing I'd like to address in regards to our goaltending in each game. I'm tired of people stating who will or won't play for our team in nets for each game. I think only once since the seasons start, I can remember a time where a posting on these forums (even with a reference) has actually been right about which goalie the habs will have in nets.

Everytime I'm think "Oh on HFBoards I read Huet will be in nets..." I see Abby... and vise versa.

I think it's best to not worry about these things and just find out at game time...

Bet you now that TSN said it'll be Abby, it's Huet.

how much u wanna bet not matter how bad or good Aebisher plays, Huet will get the next two starts after, and then back to Aebisher again.

how much you wanna bet that 8/10 of the next games, whoever TSN says is in nets for the habs the day before the game, it's the opposite come game time.

Sorry but, if Abeischer got a shutout against a good team, they would keep him in.

I don't know what you're talking about. I haven't seen a post with a source for the starting goalie that has been wrong yet.

actually...FYI...RDS is reporting is as well (Im assuming thats where TSN got it from)...so I would think its pretty safe to say that Abby is starting tomorrow night

Just in case anybody else has noticed.

If Huet does not play for a game or two he is not sharp in his first period back.
ABBY is exactly the same way.
I wonder if this continues. It will tell Carbo a few things and how to use them.

use aebischer until we are winning by 5 goals then put huet for the end of the game and the beggining of the next one so he looks sharp?

Me either.

I think oopie tends to pull stuff out his (and I wish I could find a smilie to express that).

I don;t get it either... The problem with this system is that both Aebby and Huet are the type of goalie's that need to keep on playing in order to get hot.

Not to take anything away from Aebby's performance on Saturday night, but I do believe that Huet should have gotten the start after hiss trong performance against Boston. His next game will probably be week, because it'll have been practically a week since he'll have last played.

I love Carbo, but I feel like he;s playing with fire with our goaltending situation...

I don't think either of the goalies has had two outstanding games in a row, so right now I have no problem with the switching. When one of them shows something more than the other then I'll complain.

I havent figured it out either. He is probably just not sure exactly what to do yet. He is probably waiting for a sign from one of the goalies, a clear #1 sign. Until then he is probably just playing hunches

I would have thought that huet was going to play ottawa though. As long as there is good results im happy. Go Habs Go

Thoughts?

I'm fairly comfortable with both tenders at the moment. Neither one is playing poorly and neither one is severely outplaying the other either.

Not a huge surprise... its folllowing the pattern of 2 games on and 2 games off for each tender
