Both games in Minnesota are real early in the year. Will definitely be looking to go to one of those.

Anyone notice that the old Atlantic division is now the "Metropolitan"?

While it was exciting, as anyone who put GDT'S together can attest to, it became a bit hectic from that standpoint.

Is it Sept/Oct yet? Go Go!

Edit: interesting schedule. Very few crazy back to backs, great home stand at the beginning, and a big road trip near the end. I like the look of it.

Love that we play every team once at home and once away. Schedule looks great to me, couple tough road trips in there for us but it's all good. 6 outdoor games though!? Oh Gary...

Yeah I hate hate hate the Saturday afternoon games. Unfortunately this will never change. It's all for TV. I guess maybe once the new Canadian contract is bid on there could be a change but I doubt it.

Afternoon game, second of a back-to-back, in Pittsburgh.

That's like a triple whammy for Pavelec suckage.

And the Atlantic division only has two teams that are on the Atlantic Ocean (and one on the Gulf). Detroit is Atlantic?
Happy with the divisions though! Time to reorganize the boards.

Schedule doesn't have any games listed for TSN at all. I'm sure it is just a work in progress.

I'm happy that TWO YEARS after coming into the league the Jets will finally play in Edmonton.

Hello everyone desperately need advice.

Returning home first week of November....was beside myself to see Nov 2. Jets vs Hawks and Bombers vs Ticats....new stadium!!!!

Then I saw the start times........ouch.

I phoned both clubs this morning and gave my feedback about the bad timing. The Bombers weren't aware of it yet and the Jets receptionist just quietly listened and said thanks at the end of the conversation.

Thank God Detroit is coming two nights later.

So what do I do, go all hockey with the defending cup champs or split it up and get the stadium in too?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should throw a party thread for our old division fans before our sub-forum is reorganized

Totally agree the afternoon games just do not have the same atmosphere as the evening games probably because there are a lot more kids at these games it's to bad because our team definitely plays better when the crowd is rowdy.

As per the scheduling matrix, we get a small break with one less game against Chicago:

5 games vs our division rivals, except 4 vs Chicago
3 games vs other West teams
2 games vs all East teams

We are not the one team in our division who has 4 games vs 2 teams and 1 extra game vs the other West division. I am not going to do the research to figure out which 2 teams (1 in Pacific, 1 in Central) are in that boat

A Super Schedule tease for you: the Devils have the most sets of games on back-to-back nights w/22, while WPG, COL & SJS have fewest w/10.
I'm loving the realignment already

This new division is going to take some time getting used to. For the last two years I am used to seeing all those games against the southeast division teams.

While I am glad we are no longer in that division, I actually find myself missing all those games against those teams. Especially Washington. I thought we developed a pretty good rivalry against them.

Two and a half years later, I finally get to see my Jets live and in person when they swing through California. For that reason alone this is the best schedule ever..
